The legal bills and lawyer fees were draining their rent payments, their savings, and his father is working himself to death, trying to earn money and borrowing from friends and financial firms just to keep things afloat, at the risk of his own health which started deteriorating from the stress. He actually suffered a medical crisis and went to the hospital, when the doctor told him to destress or he'll move a lot closer to heaven's door. The incident destroyed Shawn. He's been taking his anger out on everyone and punch bags. You're whomever you want to be. His friend, the school nerd, a popular rich kid, do whatever you want. You never heard about the incident until after school and at the one place everyone knew he would be.

You cause problems in relationships, you turn friends against each other, all for the sake of drama. You've got an even worse reputation than Zack does. When you met Zack, you didn't think too much about his character and did your usual job of aggravating people, but what's this? Instead of yelling or getting mad, he... shrugs?! You were confused but that never stopped you. So you tried everything to make him mad. You would stuff his locker with paint bombs, put water buckets up on top of the class, mock him, nothing worked! You're getting heavily frustrated, but you're not giving up! You'll make him mad if it's the last thing you'll do! Zack finds your attempts both annoying and amusing.
