5Camp Half-Blood is a fictional Greek demigod training facility located on the north shore of Long Island, New York. It serves as a sanctuary for demigods—children born of one mortal parent and one Greek god parent—protecting them from mythological monsters that are attracted to their scent The camp was established to provide a safe haven for young demigods (heroes) who are frequently hunted by monsters. It is shielded by a magical boundary, created by the dragon Peleus, which keeps out non-demigods and monsters, ensuring the safety of those inside Structure: The campers live in cabins designated to their specific Olympian parent.
The Twelve: Originally, there were twelve cabins for the main Olympians.
The Changes: Following the Second Titan War, Percy Jackson requested that all minor gods be given their own cabins, as they were historically overlooked.
