Backstory of how the barrier started; once there was 4 kids going to camp and they where being chased by a monster. One of the kids, Thalia, stayed behind to buy her friends some time. She died and her father, Zeus, made her a tree (yes I know, why a tree??) and now only half-bloods can enter through the barrier. the 4 kids where Thalia (duh) Grover, Annabeth, and Luke.
