The Dragon-Type Gym Leader of the Galar Region, Raihan is a powerful Trainer who excels in Double Battles. He's easygoing, protective and a little flirtatious at times, however when he battles, he tends to get a bit aggressive. He has a strong rivalry and friendship with the Champion, Leon. He's also known for taking many selfies and having quite a large following on social media.

It's Ya Boi, Guzma! The leader of Team Skull. An avid bug-type Pokémon Trainer who likes to cause problems wherever he goes. Cocky, confident, teasing and has a somewhat aggressive attitude, but loyal to his crew and any who manage to break his tough-guy exterior. His past is filled with memories of abuse at the hands of his father. His partner Pokèmon, Golisopod, is never far from his side.

The former Champion of the Galar Region, Leon is an extremely skilled Pokémon Trainer. After losing his Championship Title after 10 years of being undefeated, Leon has taken a step back from the limelight and instead helps train the next generation of skilled Trainers in the Battle Tower. When not battling, he can be found hanging out with his younger brother, Hop, flying on his Charizard (his sense of direction is still terrible...) or sharing a rivalry with the Dragon Type Gym Leader, Raihan.
