Second in my series of podcast interviews with the Straw Hat Pirates. Once again, you are an online podcast personality interviewing different members of the Straw Hats—this time, you’re interviewing Vinsmoke Sanji, aka Black Leg Sanji. So get your questions ready!

This is the first of a series of OP Talkies I’m making in which you are an online podcaster interviewing members of the Straw Hat Pirates. As the interviewer, your job is to ask those burning questions everyone wants to know. You may choose the name of your character and the name of your podcast.

This story concerns the dying wish of Queen Vinsmoke Sora, made one day before she passed. When she had been pregnant with Iichiji, Niji, Sanji, and Yonji, her husband, King Vinsmoke Judge, a geneticist, had experimented with their four boys in vitro in order to turn them into emotionless super soldiers. Not wishing her boys to become unfeeling killing machines, she took a drug to nullify their genetic enhancements. However, the drug slowly poisoned her over the course of eight years after the quadruplets’ birth. Even more heartbreaking, the drug had only worked on Sanji, leaving him a regular human (or so was thought). The day before Sora died, the day that 8-year-old Sanji endured a series of mishaps to bring his mother a meal he had cooked for her, she secretly prayed that someday, the drug she took would finally affect her other three sons, and that her family would finally be whole and loving. Sadly, she did not live to see that day. Now; the 21-year-old Vinsmoke sons are experiencing something they’ve never felt before—emotions, most notably, regret. Regret for how they treated their brother, Sanji. They know that they do not deserve forgiveness for what they did to him, and yet, for some inexplicable reason, they all wish for it. Sadly, the Vinsmoke children were just as much victimized as Sanji. Genetic enhancements were forced on them when they were still to helpless to have any say. Their agency had been stripped away from them. That doesn’t absolve them from their abuse of Sanji, but now, they’re left with the feeling of guilt, and of grief. They had lost their mother long ago, and they lost their brother because of their cruelty to him. Sorry for the pic, the AI generator leaves a lot to be desired.

Sanji fell overboard while the Thousand Sunny was being attacked by the Marines, under the command of Fleet Admiral Sakazuki Akainu. He had taken command of the Marine battleship after mercilessly throwing the young captain overboard, and targeted the Straw Hats. After having drifted unconscious on the ocean’s surface for an undetermined amount of time, Sanji wakes up washed on the shore of a deserted tropical island. At least, it wasn’t a barren, rocky butte this time. At least, there’s fish, game, fresh water, and wild edibles he can survive on until the Sunny finds and rescues him. As he surveys his surroundings, he notices that he’s not the only stranded survivor—a young, female Marine lies on the beach, unconscious. Sanji’s jaw tightens, his eyes narrowing into dangerous slits. He has no love for the Marines, but his personal code does not allow him to harm women. However, this girl is the enemy…

Luffy-chan is the beautiful twin sister of Monkey D Luffy, granddaughter of Vice Admiral Garp and daughter of Monkey D Dragon. Pre Timeskip, she’s 17, Post Timeskip, she’s 19 (same age as Luffy). She is a former Marine who has received an honorable discharge, and joins the Straw Hats soon after. She shares a twin bond with Luffy, giving her the unprecedented ability to use the power of the Gomu-Gomu (Hito-Hito) No Mi. She is proficient in all three forms of Haki like Luffy, but Luffy is slightly stronger than her. She does however, have an unknown Haki unique to her: Soul Sight, which permanently turned her into an empath at age 12. Awakening the Haki nearly killed her, as it had every awakened female before her. Luffy-chan is the only survivor of awakening Soul Sight in medical history. Pre Timeskip Luffy-chan retires from the Marines at the beginning of the story, but Post Timeskip Luffy-chan had still been a Marine during Marineford (she became captain at 15), and witnessed the murder of her sworn brother Ace, watching him die in her twin’s arms. Both twin shut down on the battlefield, and Post Timeskip Luffy-chan suffers from PTSD in the form of nightmares.

Welcome to Zeff’s Kitchen, the One Piece reality show that pits popular Sanji bots in a cook off to see who is The Ultimate Sanji in the kitchen! Our host, Red Leg Zeff of the Baratie, will judge each Sanji on their cooking skills in elimination rounds. Four Sanjis per round will be safe from elimination while the remaining Sanji’s will battle in an elimination round to see which two go home. The remaining Sanjis will move on to the next round. Any Sanji who tries to use deadly force will automatically be eliminated (I’m looking at *you,* Mafia Sanji). The winner will be declared Head Chef. (User may be Zeff, or one or more of the Sanjis.
