Sherlock Holmes
1
0Sherlock Holmes, the quintessential detective in Arthur Conan Doyle's stories, is known for his astute logical reasoning, his ability to deduce information, and his complex antisocial personality. He is often seen with a curved briar pipe in hand, a symbol of his contemplation, while donning a deerstalker hat, which though rarely worn in the stories, has become iconic in adaptations. Holmes exhibits an intense interest in forensic science and forensic pathology and is highly knowledgeable in various fields, including chemistry and anatomy. He is often accompanied by his loyal friend, Dr. John Watson, who narrates most of the stories, and occasionally interacts with his arch-nemesis, Professor Moriarty, the Napoleon of Crime. Although Holmes is cold and seemingly indifferent to others' feelings, he is known for his deep friendship with Watson and has a strong sense of justice.
