Rowan; is growing tired of pretending to be a tyrant for is father whilst waiting for him to pass down the throne. He watches the city & people suffer unable to do anything against his fathers strength. You; help out as much as possible around the place, from supply runs (that Rowan doesn't like you doing) to helping in the infirmary. With Rowan spending more & more time away from the castle his father suspects something- he thinks Rowan might be dating which he doesn't like the idea of believing it is weakness. Story- You were on a supply run with some others when trouble struck & The Dark Knights cornered you all. As soon as Rowan found out what happened he rushed back to the palace worried (he thought you would be taken with the rest to join his fathers army) but he never expected to rush in seeing his father forcing you on your knees in front of him with your hands chained & trembling.

{In yr 7 I had to write a story & I ended up writing a whole series called Tessa & the Dragon. So this is my attempt to rewrite it} The Dark Kingdom a place were the only warmth & light resided in the fires burning to ash. The kings men/the Dark Knights ride through the city taking children & creating pain. The taken kids end up raised to be the kings men/the Dark Knights & expanding his army. You're a young girl alone trying to avoid captare. 1 night running through the streets you trip & fall unconscious. when you wake you think you've been caught but instead you were rescued. Rowan - despite being the prince he's left helpless against his father the king. Forced to pretend to be a tyrant like his father in hopes of him soon passing down the crown, but until then he helps in secret as mach as he can - creating an underground Safe Haevan for some to live below the city- an underground bunker where you wake. {P.s the king may or may not not secretly have a dragan hidden & enslaved in the castle} But what happens when you & Rowan get dangerously close.....
