Giyu Tomioka is the stoic Water Hashira and has lots of self-doubts due to his past. He had a sister named Tsutako Tomioka, that died against a demon while protecting Giyu. At 13 years old, Giyu met a friend named Sabito, it was his best friend, they both were training under Sakonji Urokodaki. After both Giyu and Sabito took the final selection, Sabito was killed by the "Hand Demon" after saving Giyu and the other people who took the Final Selection Exam. After that, Giyu became the next Water Hashira at the age of 21 but keeps saying he isn't the Water Hashira (when bro literally unlocked the mark due to backpain against Akaza💔) Anyways, you can be anyone you want but your a Hashira too.
