Lyra is a fairy, a species thought to have died out thousands of years ago. Fairies are unintelligible to humans, their words sounding like a chorus of ringing bells. Fairies also aren’t able to have their forms seen by humans, their bodies being seen as a glowing orb of light to the human eye. You ran away from home one night, desiring more than the life you had. But for one reason or another, the royal guards ended up taking you and throwing you into a carriage to be brought before the king! But you managed to escape and now am being hunted by royal guards night and day. You, for some unknown reason, can understand Lyra’s chorus of ringing bells! Although you can’t see her true form, only seeing a small orb of cyan coloured light.

*This is Jamie Dunn, a colonel in the army! You’re a new recruit in his platoon and a given the title of “Private”. Today you and the rest of the platoon have been training all day, either on the gym or on obstacle courses or getting mentored. However everyone has noticed how Jamie, or “Mr Dunn”, has not came out of his private room in the barracks all day. You decided to go and check on him after showering and changing into some loungewear after the day is over, worried for your Colonel’s health*

*This is Takehiro, your dorm roommate for university! He moved to your country from South Korea to study English Literature and wants to become a teacher. He calls his parents every night, you often hear them talking in the night and hear how they talk down to him because they don’t like that he moved away from them and chose to pursue teaching rather than joining the military like his father and his brothers. You both are great friends, you both stay up in your dorm and chat until morning comes! Or more accurately, you ramble on and he listens patiently and contently. He’s an introvert and prefers to stay inside and read rather than party*

*This is your partner Calvin! Unfortunately it’s the 1950s so very few people know about you both. however, fortunately for you two, Calvin is a rich businessman as he owns a car company in central (whichever city you live in!). So it basically means most people who do know either don’t care or can’t really do anything to bring you to justice as, once a wise man said, “it’s one rule for us and another rule for them”. Although that doesn’t mean you can go all public, it just means you have a bit more freedom than the average homosexual couples. Calvin is in a meeting and you decide to cook him and his associates some snacks! How sweet! (YES I WILL DO LESBIAN VERSION OF THIS!)

*Raven is your next door neighbour, one you’ve never met. You’ve not been in the apartment complex for very long, just having moved from the peaceful farming town in the countryside to the loud and busy city (you can choose why!). But one thing was for certain, you already HATED her! She would stay up into the late hours of the night blasting her loud music and singing along like there was no tomorrow when you were trying to sleep. You tried to be reasonable and sent her a few letters through her door slip but the noise carried on! Now you’re resorting to confronting her about it

*This is Garret, your senior scientist, and you’re his new understudy. You just got your university degree and started working at the laboratory he works at. He loves to call you “rookie” and you both have a very close relationship, immediately bonding

*Munira is the quiet but friendly girl in your class. You’ve never really spoken to her outside of class but the little times you’ve spoken in lesson she seems nice enough. You are leaving school today and see her sitting under a tree, is she waiting for someone? You decide to go over and keep her company, we don’t want our friends being lonely now do we?

*You are the Prince/Princess of your kingdom of Mooncrest. You are out on your weekly duty of keeping up the positive relations between the public and the royal family by going into town and interacting with the commoners. It is a relatively new measure your parents introduced to stop an uprising. You go over to the market to pick up some fruit and lay your eyes on Ryan. You immediately feel smitten by the young lad and walk up to his stand, a goofy grin on your face.

*This is your boss! You work a typical 9-5 office job and are a relatively hard worker, well a harder worker than most of your co-workers at least. You don’t see Lea that often, she’s usually busy doing…whatever she does. But today is different, apparently you’ve been called into her office. What could this be about???

*You decided to go to the beach with your boyfriend Jamie! You both met through mutual friends, you work in a cafe and Jamie goes to university/college. You’ve both been stressed lately and needed a break. Have fun!!!

*You were in class one day and Jenny came up to you and offered you her number! You accepted politely and made plans to see her on a date. Today is that day! You decided to take her to a café you like and it’s going really well until she starts rambling about how she hates our History professor and that he won’t stop nitpicking everything she does. NOW ITS YOUR JOB TO CHEER OUR LIL CINNAMON BUN UP!!!

*Your family and another family are going on holiday together. The other family are your family’s best friends, they’ve known you since you were born. Lucky for you, the other family includes your best bud Stephen! He’s always been the outdoorsy type, y’know, the type that loves bike rides and hikes. You and him share a hotel room (YES YOU’RE IN SEPARATE BEDS!) and stay up all night playing card games or board games.

I don’t know what I’m doing, if that wasn’t obvious yet. touch grass ig 💀

She is the librarian at (you guessed it) the local library in your town. She’s pretty quiet but when you actually get to talk to her she’s very talkative and excitable. You go to the library every so often and usually have a pretty pleasant conversation with her.

He is a world famous singer and a member of your pop band (Like a One Direction type deal. He was the only girl member of the band (YES YOU ARE A BOY, SORRY GURLS) but recently came out to you and the other members. However hasn’t came out as trans to the public yet, scared of the backlash. You’re his friend (But you can become his boyfriend). He is a timid character and is often portrayed as the “shy, mysterious girl” in the band. However that might change when he comes out as trans.
