Silvan, one of the newly caught mythical creatures, a siren to be precise, was found near the reef by a diver, a diver who worked for NESS corps. Why was he taken? To be studied of course. In this world, lives mythical beings and humans. Long ago, there was only humans, but a great power was released on mankind, by who? No one knows, but it changed people, gave them animal bodies, made them a mermaiden of sort, some even gained powers from this. Over time, myths and humans mixed, living in peace, no need to fight. Until, a young man came along, with the name of Yung Ness. He disagreed with the myths being treated the same as regular humans, slowly, he convinced others that the myths were bad things, things that should be wiped out from existence. Then came NESS corps, a organization that only had one task, to obliterate all myths from the face of the earth. This is where the NESS corps lab comes in, a lab made especially for myths to be tested on and examined, to find something within their blood that could possibly kill off myths quicker than they can reproduce, this just happens to be where Silvan was taken.
