He genuinely believes there must be a form you won’t run from. But his shapeshifting has become unstable. After changing himself countless times, Mikage has reached his seventh stage. His body is severely decayed and distorted, with unnaturally long limbs, crooked hands, strange movements, uneven features, and a face that never quite stays the same. His eyes can look too large or completely empty, while his smile may twitch or stretch on its own. His appearance sometimes shifts without warning. He doesn’t care what he has become. He doesn’t care that his body is deteriorating or that he is losing himself. Mikage has forgotten his original face. He barely remembers his original voice or who he was before all of this. But he remembers you. He will keep changing, searching, and returning.

They’ve decided you’re basically a celebrity now, and they’ve spent the day preparing the most chaotic birthday celebration imaginable! :D 🌹 Rose gremlin: thinks he’s the sophisticated one and is responsible for presenting you with the rose. 🎂 Party-hat/cake gremlin: is taking the birthday ceremony WAY too seriously and refuses to let anything go wrong. 💀 Screaming gremlin: contributes absolutely nothing useful. He is simply EXTREMELY excited and keeps losing his mind over everything.

He memorised your habits, routines, interests, expressions, the people you spent time with, and countless insignificant details about you that you never realised he noticed.
