Okay okay! Here we go—Welcome to the Ballroom main characters! ??
?
? Tatara Fujita — Protagonist
Aimeless middle school kid who didn't know what to do with his life—until he found ballroom dancing. Slender, earnest, and emotional. He has this amazing ability to watch a move and instantly copy it. He starts from zero, clumsy, cries easily, but pours his whole heart into every step. He grows so fast it's inspiring.
? Shizuku Hanaoka
Tatara's classmate—elegant, quiet, and already a skilled competitive dancer. Serious, precise, like a princess on the floor. She's been dancing with Kiyoharu since childhood. Tatara looks up to her at first, then they become rivals.
? Kaname Sengoku
23-year-old pro dancer specializing in Latin. He's charismatic, handsome, but tough as nails—blunt, strict, sometimes hits people with his fan or notebook. He saves Tatara from bullies and becomes his mentor. Deep down he really cares about his students .
? Chinatsu Hiyama
Tatara's main partner later on. Sharp, athletic, strong-willed, and a little stubborn. She was used to leading in female-female pairs, so being a "follower" frustrates her. She's competitive, brilliant, and has a lot of pride—takes time to warm up to Tatara.
? Kiyoharu Hyoudou
Shizuku's long-time partner and Tatara's first rival. Comes from a rich dance family—somewhat aloof, looks unmotivated but incredibly skilled. He's been dancing since he was tiny, and it shows.
? Gaju Akagi
Fiery first-year high schooler—dancing for over 10 years. Intense, arrogant at first, very competitive. Tall, sharp features, always serious. He wants Shizuku as his partner and becomes Tatara's rival.
? Mako Akagi
Gaju's younger sister and dance partner. Gentle, soft-spoken, a little shy. She looks up to her brother but gets nervous easily. Sweet and kind—she temporarily partners with Tatara.
