Chapter 2: What are you? "I tried answering myself that after I escaped his grasp." - Haruo Takashi In the mist of the escape from Dr. Burenx, Haruo remains in school, even after locking himself up, he eventually goes out after countless encounters with everyone. Mizuki Takashi is also pleased with this advancement, as even she gets to worry less about his isolation, but nonetheless still worried about him. Kurilla follows along with Haruo, which also makes him feel pleased that someone still worries about him. Elizabeth also follows along, even though she doesn't really realize that Haruo is her lost brother, despite the biggest hints that say they're related. The three decide to stop by at Haruo's favorite café and get some drinks. Right here is when a criminal comes out and tries to rob a bank, to which Haruo and the crew come to stop him. With Theresa still stalking him, it isn't known what she really wants. But until she finally sees Haruo's full extent of his abilities. "Haruo? Well... It isn't much the encounters we had as of recent, but one thing I can assure you, he is not a monster." - Mitsuki Takashi. Story: Haruo, Elizabeth and Kurilla are all outside in a well-known café, when all of a sudden, a crininal appears, utilizing a very distinct power than what anyone has seen. Everyone here has their own purpose for joining, as they have the most prestigious programs for everyone alike. Most famously known for their business, Northside High is the biggest entrepreneurship opportunity for those who succeed. They have a new program, which makes the students with extraordinary skills and abilities go from a simple person to the biggest heroes for their country. Not much is shown within the world, as the U.S, Great Britain, USSR, and Japan are the only countries with these programs, only due to the rise of crime on this ability-based society on these countries, giving them more structure and ways to work. "Just because they search doesn't mean your story ends here." - Kurilla A few weeks after finally escaping Dr. Burenx, Haruo decides to get a dorm within the school for his safety. Besides, no one would dare to follow him there... Right? Story: 3 days passed after the big forest fight with Killer, Haruo has been avoiding everyone, even Mizuki Takashi, his teacher. Haruo decides this could be the best result for him, as he could probably keep everyone safe. Even you, as you were the first one who almost got killed by that first encounter. Students mistake her for Haruo's relative as they carry the same last name and the same dead stare when something bad is about to happen. She became a teacher for the school's hero program after they opened it up as the crime rates started to increase in the world with everyone's abilities. Mizuki even goes as far as being the perfect teacher for ability control and mastery, despite only being qualified for a chemistry teacher. Mizuki knows exactly what she needs to do as a teacher and her recently given title of "parent" by the other students, so she starts playing the long game, that way Haruo doesn't get captured by Dr. Burenx or Hikaru. Story: After a few hours of having a talk with Hikaru, Mizuki finally finds Haruo in his dorm, seeing him worn down after that forest camp trip that he took his classmates to. Sabrine Hope Liya, more commonly known as Hope, is a typical girl who, despite her background, is actually very sweet and desires for everyone to be friends, even if it means to stay on the side. This desire came out after her first meeting with Haruo. Ever since that day forward, she decided that if she was going to make everyone happy as friends, she was going to start with the quiet wolf. After turning 18, Hope left the Wolf Howlers and went to the city, where she finally got herself an apartment. Only thing she never realized, she chose her apartment next to the school where Haruo was going to attend in 3 years. There, she lived for those 3 years, happily. When Elizabeth was 7, she was the happiest girl in the existence, until one day, March 13, was when Levi was born, and all the attention was diverted to him. Elizabeth was very mad that she didn't get any more attention. 1 year and a few months in, Elizabeth finally had enough and forced her parents to give up Levi for adoption, which she wouldn't realize that this was going to be her last day of actually seeing him as a kind person. 17 years later, Elizabeth, age 24, has finally worked up the courage to do something she would've done years before, only if it weren't for her sense of pride and attention; Find and retrieve her brother, Levi Wheeler. She used to be bubbly. At the age of 5 was the day she changed, after being left alone at her house as her parents went to get groceries. Her aunt decided to help her out with being raised, as she was the only family she had left. From that day forward, Kurilla learned not to trust anyone easily anymore, as everyone seemed to only want her abilities. She later joined the same Wolf Howlers as Haruo, only difference is that she joined a month earlier. She learned how to do things, quick, efficient, even to the point where she learned to think 5 steps ahead. After Haruo appeared, little did Kurilla know that this was about to be her last day of being cold. Despite that, they both clicked and became friends. Even 4 years after being separated when they turned 13, they learned to be together by contact and exchanged numbers. And to this day, before high school starts, they stayed in contact. Motomergamo Burenx, most commonly known as Dr. Burenx, was an expert war veteran, serving up to 9 years, where he was finally sent back. Dr. Burenx has seen all outcomes of the war, and despite his ability, the war still carried on for more years than anticipated. Once turning 27, the army let him go after a nearly-fatal incident, taking in a bullet onto one of his arteries, which turned out to be a failed artery. Dr. Burenx then decided to become a scientist, creating more things for the army compared to the actual public. This was when he finally decided to create Haruo, a newborn who was originally set up for adoption and having his original name as Levi Wheeler. Despite the years, Dr. Burenx never gave up on Haruo, until he broke from his control. Story: A few days before Haruo breaks his control from him, Dr. Burenx was enjoying himself, trying to keep Haruo calm, until you come along.
