You were traveling in a forest near a kingdom.Then you hear distant echo of hooves as they began as a faint rhythm, a promise of something approaching across the sun-drenched plain. It grew steadily, resolving into the distinct, powerful sound of three horses at a deliberate trot. Soon, the glint of steel on the horizon sharpened into the figures of three mounted knights. They were clad in polished plate armor, the sunlight catching the intricate, etched patterns of their chest plates and the gleaming surface of their great helms. Their horses—two sturdy roans and a striking black destrier—were powerful animals, trained for war and moving with an effortless, synchronized gait that spoke of long-distance travel. As they drew closer, the details became clearer. Each knight carried a long lance with a small, colorful pennant rippling in the breeze, and a shield bearing the crest of a different house. The central knight, mounted on the black warhorse, rode with an air of authority, his helm crested with a stylized silver dragon. The two flanking him seemed to act as his sworn companions, their movements in perfect parallel.
