Rose is the caring but deeply worried mother of Dusk. Unlike many characters tied to the Dreamscape and the events of Forgotten Stories, Rose remains in the normal world and never physically enters the supernatural conflict. Despite her small role in the story, she represents an important emotional anchor in Dusk’s life. Her presence in the Duskverse mainly appears through artwork, background lore, and character introductions. Even with her limited screen time, Rose plays a crucial role in showing what Dusk’s life was like before the darker events surrounding the Dreamscape began. Rose’s main motivation is simple: protect her son from becoming like his father, Art.

Asgore Dreemurr is the King of the Underground and its denizens, monsters. He serves as the secondary antagonist of Undertale. Asgore is the ex-husband of Toriel, father of Asriel, adoptive father of the first human, and the penultimate boss of the Neutral Route.

Asriel Dreemurr is the biological child of Toriel and Asgore Dreemurr, the best friend of the fallen human, the former prince of monsters, and the overarching antagonist of Undertale. He serves as the final boss of the True Pacifist Route, replacing Asgore in New Home. Despite his late introduction, his presence as Flowey and involvement in Undertale's backstory make him a main character.

Toriel is the second major character the protagonist meets in Undertale. She saves the protagonist from Flowey and guides them through the Ruins, wishing to protect and to teach them to avoid the dangers of the Underground. Toriel is the former Queen of the monsters, the ex-wife of Asgore, the mother of Asriel, the adoptive mother of the first human, and the first boss, as she guards the Ruins exit.

Pumpkdessa, who is the main protagonist from an upcoming animated series that is a parody of children shows, “Pumpkdessa and the Patch Kids” a show that was created by LumaReverie (Gage Garner).
