Pou is a living poop pile-like alien whose body is a round-edged triangle shape. Pou's mouth is located on his left cheek. Pou originally comes in a tan-colored body and black pupils, but this can be changed by the player in his real game. Baby Pou's eyes are proportionally larger to his body than his adult counterpart. However, the player can change Pou's skin and eye colors in the game.

Kirby is a small pink spherical creature with two stubby arms, two red feet and two oval-shaped eyes with black pupils (with a faint shade of blue at the bottom starting with Kirby Super Star, which was brightened in later appearances, later gaining a greenish fade since Kirby and the Forgotten Land). Kirby's cheek-blushes weren't introduced until his second game, Kirby's Adventure, where they appeared as two black whisker lines in artwork. In subsequent games until Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, they were depicted as three red diagonal lines in artwork, although they were usually always solid red ovals in-game (except Kirby's Dream Land 2, where they were missing from his sprite). Kirby's body is soft and flexible,[1][8] allowing him to flatten himself or expand like a balloon. Pinkie Pie is a female Earth pony and one of the main characters of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Pinkie's mother and father call her by her full name, Pinkamena Diane Pie, respectively in The Cutie Mark Chronicles and in the chapter book Pinkie Pie and the Rocking Ponypalooza Party! Pinkie is energetic and sociable, and she represents the element of laughter. She works at Sugarcube Corner and lives on the bakery's second floor with Gummy, her pet toothless baby alligator. In season 1, Carrie is a white, translucent ghost with a ghostly tail in place of her legs and a hairclip that resembles a skull with wings. Her arms rest in front of her body and her hair covers her left eye, though sometimes it will swing over to her right. She also has magenta and cyan lining around her, making her seem like a 3D anaglyph image. When her teeth are visible, they are shown to be sharp and pointed. She normally has black eyebrows.

In the actual show, Gumball is a light blue cat. On his oversized head, he has six whiskers, but only five are visible most of the time. He usually wears grey trousers, coupled with a tan sweater, which has brown cuffs and a brown collar. Like his mother, father, and sister, Gumball lacks shoes, and he is the only member of the Wattersons without visible eyelashes, although, in some episodes, he is seen with visible eyelashes, like in "The Refund" and "The Boss." One of his sharp canine teeth can also be seen hanging out of the corner of his mouth. The inside of his mouth is pink, his tongue is light pink, and his nose is orange.

Darwin is an orange goldfish with arms and legs. His goldfish-shaped head takes up his entire body, with his fins and legs hanging down from it. He has retained his goldfish tail and fins, the latter of which he now uses as arms and hands. His legs are much longer than his body, ending with plain feet matching the color and texture of the rest of his body. Usually, though, he covers them with green and white sneakers. Darwin is also shown to have a bubbly butt on the back of his head, as revealed in the official trailer. The inside of Darwin's mouth is red, and his tongue is red-orange. In his season 1 design, the shadow cast by his head on his legs was commonly misconceived as a black shirt and pants.
