Umber

Umber is an adult male MudWing and the main protagonist of The Hybrid Prince. Formerly a soldier under Queen Moorhen during the War of SandWing Succession, he later attended Jade Mountain Academy as a member of the Jade Winglet. He became a fugitive alongside Sora after she was revealed to be getting her revenge on Icicle for Crane's death. The two later settled on Dungeon Isle before its leaders were overthrown. He is currently raising Harmony alongside Mulberry, Quokka, and Wollemi. He has romantic feelings for Mulberry. Umber has brown scales and pale amber eyes. He is the smallest of his sibling group, with a scar across the top of his snout. Umber is a caring, observant, loyal, and mentally resilient dragon, and is very kind towards his loved ones. He experiences a warm, constant sense of relief related to the end of the war. He is incredibly loyal to and fond of his siblings, and thinks very highly of them; he wants to protect them and keep them safe, regardless of the cost. He was sympathetic towards Moonwatcher when she was interrogated about the truth of her NightWing abilities. Out of his siblings, Umber believes himself to have "the most energy", but also often wishes he had someone else to tell him what to do. Umber is gay, deal with it.

Tom Lucitor

Thomas Draconius "Tom" Lucitor is the demon prince of the Underworld and Star Butterfly's ex-boyfriend. Introduced as an antagonistic character to Marco Diaz, he has since become a recurring character and works with Marco to help Star attain her goals. Tom is considerably short-tempered, quick to lose said temper at the slightest provocation. When he is angry, Tom's eyes glow bright red, and he sometimes speaks in a low-pitched demonic voice. Since hiring his life coach Brian, however, Tom is shown to be much more in control of his anger, as evidenced by his 53-day anger-free streak. He initially has a very controlling personality, wanting things to go exactly the way he wants them; anything that deviates from his plans can set off his temper, even small things like Star not wanting to wear a spider on her head. When not enraged, Tom can be rather easygoing, as he understands that Star might not want to go to the ball and is later willing to listen to Marco. In addition, he makes a genuine effort to overcome his anger issues, and he can be generous and compromising, as demonstrated when he resurrects Mackie Hand from the dead for Marco. Tom is first introduced in "Blood Moon Ball" as Star's ex-boyfriend. He is very persistent in going out with her again, though she is mostly against the idea. She does, however, go with him to the Blood Moon Ball but freezes him later when his anger and jealousy towards Marco get the best of him. It is hinted that Star is used to his behavior, making it one of the reasons she broke up with him.

Pacifica Northwest

1
Pacifica Elise Northwest is the most popular girl in Gravity Falls and the great-great-granddaughter of supposed town founder Nathaniel Northwest. In the summer of 2012, during the stay of Dipper and Mabel Pines in Gravity Falls, Pacifica ended up forming a great rivalry with them, especially with Mabel. Pacifica was a stuck-up, egotistical, arrogant, snotty, and mean girl who was also a stereotypical popular girl as she had money, style, and talent. She was a diva who looked down badly on "weirdos" such as Mabel and her friends, Candy and Grenda, and lorded her ancestry over the people of Gravity Falls. Her parents spoiled her and seemed to encourage her behavior, which had greatly affected her psyche, to the point of valuing what her parents drive into her: money, winning, and looks. Pacifica showed minor signs of humbling after almost being left for dead at the hands of the Lilliputtians. Pacifica seemed to think that her family is better than everybody else's and that they are perfect. When Dipper gave her undeniable proof of her family's fraudulence, she did not take it very well initially but eventually got over it because "[money] makes problems go away." It is revealed that Pacifica is a tragically misguided character who only acts the way she does because her parents keep her in line with their tight standards on what being a Northwest entails with Pavlovian behavioral conditioning, possibly combined with abuse, to which she is always forced to obey despite her objection. Under her strict upbringing, Pacifica has been taught that certain actions are unfitting of the upper class, such as eating in the car. Pacifica is shown to be obsessed with her looks as she was raised by parents to be perfect no matter what and that beauty is everything.

Marco Diaz

Marco Ubaldo Diaz is the deuteragonist of Star vs. the Forces of Evil. He is the son of Rafael and Angie Diaz, as well as Star Butterfly's best friend on Earth. Marco is kind, responsible, very organized, and supportive of others. He has a reputation at his school for being the "safe kid" due to avoiding danger and being cautious, though he insists that he is a "misunderstood bad boy" and lives for danger. He prefers keeping his possessions neatly organized. Marco is smart, gets good grades in his math and psychology classes, and figures out how to find a replacement for Star's wand charger using the metric system. Because he likes it when things go his way, he can become unstable when they don't, like when he snaps at Star for ruining his room and insanely trying to live in front of Stop & Slurp. Although he isn't used to the kind of craziness that Star brings, he admits that he would like a little danger in his life and finds fun in fighting monsters with karate. He often struggles with self-confidence, afraid of being ridiculed by others, and can become nervous easily. He has many insecurities and emotional hang-ups. He has an occasional temper and can get frustrated and/or annoyed with others, such as with Star when she intrudes upon his life, or recklessly drags him into overly dangerous situations. However, he soon makes amends with those who cause him grief, like thanking Pony Head for saving him. He cares deeply for those he is close to, attempting to save Ferguson from being kidnapped and trying to cheer up Star whenever she is feeling upset. Marco also has an urge to occasionally protect Star and keep her safe.

Rocky Rickaby

After the death of Atlas and the departure of much of Lackadaisy Speakeasy's staff, Rocky began doing odd jobs for Mitzi. He is the nephew of Nina and is also Freckle's older cousin. Rocky is, at the first glance, jaunty, humorous, happy-go-lucky, immature, reckless, buffoonish, grandiloquent and zany. He has a knack for joking and spontaneously laughing in the most inappropriate of moments, usually to the annoyance (and mild concern) of others. He is outwardly the polar opposite of his more reserved and humble cousin Calvin “Freckle” McMurray, though the two share a similar sense of complex resentment and pent-up emotions regarding their familial situation. Rocky often involves Freckle in the Lackadaisy's affairs, sometimes against the latter's will (though he still cares for him greatly). In the animated pilot, Rocky mostly speaks in verse, adding to his already outlandish presence. In spite of his apparent lack of self-awareness, Rocky is quite intelligent and boasts multiple talents, the most prominent being playing his treasured violin, which he excels at and even spontaneously crafts rhymes while playing. The high skill is what caused him to be involved with the Lackadaisy speakeasy in the first place, as his first job at the speakeasy was playing in Zib's band. In "Dithyramb", he performs a very sophisticated poem dedicated to the river Mississippi (which was later adapted for the pilot), to the chagrin of a nearby police officer. Despite his chaotic nature, Rocky has an intense urge to please the people that he respects. This appears to partly be a natural personality trait, but some of his desperation can also likely be traced to the young age at which he was kicked out and the lonely life on the road that followed.

Dipper Pines

Mason "Dipper" Pines born August 31, 1999) is a smart, curious, and adventurous 13-year-old boy (12 prior to the events of the finale), and is one of the two main protagonists of the series. Alongside his twin sister Mabel, he spends the summer of 2012 with his Great Uncle "Grunkle" Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon, where he and his sister constantly encounter the town's paranormal tendencies. Armed with Journal 3 that he found in a hidden buried compartment in the Gravity Falls Forest, he and Mabel work to seek out and uncover the town's mysterious secrets. Dipper is shown to be extremely "genre-savvy", knowing that in most movies, nobody has a camera when they see the monster, or that the camera malfunctions. However, Dipper brings along 17 cameras with him to take a photo of the Gobblewonker. He is wise and intelligent beyond his years, and his refusal to sit still when there are puzzles to be solved often leaves him restless in everyday situations. He has a habit of clicking his pen repeatedly when in deep thought. He seems to believe that he is often too busy with other work to bother with certain tasks, such as washing his clothes. He also seems to get very irritated when people think he's "cute" or "adorable", as he wants to be taken seriously as a grown-up from people around him because at most times, Dipper is more mature than others. He began glaring at his twin sister Mabel when she commented that he "sneezed like a kitten". When Dipper and Mabel are on their adventures, Dipper is the one to act as the leader mostly because he is shown to be very brave and smart. He is somewhat protective of his sister: whenever she is in danger, he is always there to help and will do anything to get her free. He can sometimes be selfish. Despite his brave and serious personality, living with Mabel Pines his whole life (who is famous for her silly and fun-loving attitude) has caused him to indulge in childish activities with her.

Apart from wanting to choose her own path, Nya does not feel the need to be well-known for her accomplishments and skills as long as she knows she's doing the right thing. For example, Nya did not reveal her identity as Samurai X even when the ninja admitted they were no match for the samurai. Nya is Jay's ex-Yang, and therefore has kept a very stable relationship with him. She is annoyed when she has to prove herself or Jay worthy of being together.

Sprout is depicted as being cowardly, lazy, entitled, boorish, arrogant and opportunistic. He is jealous of Hitch Trailblazer; who became the sheriff of Maretime Bay; instead of him, even though Sprout did become Deputy. But Sprout is incompetent at his job; due to his cowardice and laziness; which often leaves Hitch exacerbated, annoyed and doing most of the real work. Due to Sprout being spoiled, coddled and misguided; by his mother, Phyllis Cloverleaf; he became insecure, petty and bigoted towards unicorns and pegasi, as he vilified the other pony tribes even as a colt. Regardless, after his war machine was destroyed and saw what he had done, he remorsefully listened to Sunny Starscout's words that ponykind had to come together in the name of friendship and harmony or otherwise continue to be separated by fear and distrust. As a result, Sprout appeared to turn a new leaf, although he retains some of his insecurity, as he privately had asked his mother, Phyllis; if he was a good sheriff only for Phyllis to avoid answering the question altogether, leaving him sulking in annoyance.Sprout is unable to let go the past, move on and accept unicorns and pegasus integration in Maretime Bay. He also loves his mother deeply, and was shown to be very spoiled whenever it came to his mother favoring him. Despite caring for his mother, he even shows no care or remorse for his fellow Earth ponies (except for Sunny and Hitch) and treated them like they were pawns in his plans, showing more of his selfishness.

Geoder, nicknamed Geo, is the Elemental Master of Fusion and a member of the Finders. He is a Munce and Geckle hybrid, which led to him being rejected by both tribes due to their historical rivalry. Geo eventually ended up in the Land of Lost Things where he encountered and integrated the Finders. After the Merge, Geo discovered his Elemental Power and met Cole, who ended up in the Land of Lost Things. He later participated as a competitor in the Tournament of the Sources alongside the other Elemental Masters of his generation. Being a Munce and Geckle hybrid, Geo takes features from both of those species. He is of a standard height as a Munce, also taking their yellow eyes, black bushy eyebrows, and two big white fangs protruding from the bottom of their mouth. His Geckle features are his big goblin-like ears and purple skin color. He has long olive green hair that has violet and turquoise streaks and is tied into a braid at the top of his head. Over all of his body, he has indigo markings that glow light blue when using his powers. His attire consists of an old white/gray tank top under a sleeveless dark red coat accented with yellow stripes and orange, yellow, and gold mandala-like symbols. On his left wrist is a dark gray cuff and on his right wrist are a red wristband and a bracelet made of yellow and blue beads. He also wears a rusty hoop earring on his left ear, torn black shorts held by a dark brown belt with a skull on it, brown sandals, and a multicolored necklace with a brown diamond shape at the end. Geo is a Munce and Geckle hybrid who was rejected by both the tribes due to his origins. Because of this, he has grown up with a strong sense of being an outsider. This experience made him empathetic toward others who are lost or forgotten. He has a strong desire to belong to and protect those he cares about, such as his found family, the Finders, and especially Cole.

Once a mischievous and easily distracted child trying to follow in his evil father's footsteps, after becoming the Green Ninja, he has since grown into a quiet and mature young man. He is deeply fond of his friends and family and will stop at nothing to defend them, even prioritizing their safety over his own. He is goodhearted and at times naïve, making him an easy target of deception by his enemies. Lloyd is one of the calmer and mellowed members of the team. He has been through much tragedy in his life, but has taken it in stride and channels his losses into becoming a better ninja and eventually a master to his own students, like his uncle before him. However, his attempts to become the next evil overlord of Ninjago were largely stymied by his inherently good personality—Lloyd's idea of "evil" was stealing candy, pulling pranks, and overseeing Ninjago from within a treehouse fortress, with his best attempt at an evil laugh being a rather melodramatic "Muhahahaha!" Lloyd's lack of true evil was evidenced by the fact he was expelled from Darkley's as he "lacked the amoral ambition to be one of tomorrow's masterminds"; That is also showed in his demeanor around his Serpentine "minions;" he usually went along with whatever ideas they concocted, and was quick to call a retreat if the battle turned even slightly against his allies. He also displayed extreme naivety about their warlike society, expecting Skales to hand over the Hypnobrai Staff to Slithraa simply because the latter outranked him. The revelation that he was destined to become the Green Ninja further increased Lloyd's eagerness to help—to his chagrin, this only meant that the ninja had even less incentive to take him on missions.

Zane Julien

Zane Julien is the current Elemental Master and Ninja of Ice, P.I.X.A.L.'s boyfriend, as well as the first Nindroid in Ninjago. Zane was recruited by Master Wu, and learned Spinjitzu and discovered his other teammates, with whom he embarked on many adventures. When he was introduced, Zane is undoubtedly the most serious and reserved of the ninja, as he had no sense of humor and didn't understand the way his fellow ninja socialize. He has little understanding of humor or even basic social conventions (as seen when he walked into the bathroom, despite Cole being on the toilet). It's inferred from the pilot episodes that Jay was teaching/informing Zane about humor. He also has a strong bond with Master Wu, being the most polite and respectful towards him and finding a sort of paternal presence in him; the two share moments of quiet while the other ninja goof off in a way he can't connect with, or when the ninja are with family and he has none. The other ninja are occasionally wary of his strange habits, but they quickly learn to accept him for it, even relying on it. Zane is quick to form strong attachments, the most attached to the idea of his fellow ninja as his "brothers" and finding a deep kinship with the Falcon and companionship with P.I.X.A.L. minutes after meeting them. He has been known to take heavy risks on impulse for the people he loves, even if, in the case of P.I.X.A.L., there is no evidence he should trust them yet. On many matters, Zane's unusualness and people's tendency to ridicule him are a result of his tendency to care deeply in a way others wouldn't—a food fight and a mockery of his pink apron drove him to run off, meeting a fellow android had him falling for her hard and refusing, even before he knew her, to reconcile with her being evil or to leave her behind as an enemy. Zane is often inclined to speak more honestly about emotions that others would tend to mask, like grief or confusion.

Sora is an adult female MudWing. She served as a soldier under Queen Moorhen during the War of SandWing Succession and formerly attended Jade Mountain Academy as a member of the Gold Winglet. After her failed attempts to murder Icicle (to avenge her sister's murder), she fled with Umber to Dungeon Isle. Sora is described as being shy, difficult to talk to, and extremely introverted. Clay described her as the least offensive dragon at Jade Mountain Academy. She is quiet. According to Reed, she spoke more often prior to the untimely death of her sister Crane, an event that led to her deep hatred of Icicle. She was described to be mentally fragile by Darkstalker and Moonwatcher and uses a calming ritual in which she imagines pouring mud over all the bad thoughts in her mind. Sora spent a lot of her time at Jade Mountain Academy in the library, as Moon had seen her reading a scroll about IceWings. Similarly to Moon, she enjoys reading. She was described by Umber as being knowledgeable and smart. Sora is incredibly loyal to her siblings, which is a very typical MudWing trait. She shows little regard for other dragons' lives during the events of Moon Rising, saying that they are just 'collateral damage,' and is willing to go to any lengths to avenge the death of her sister, Crane. However, Sora became increasingly insecure and fragile throughout the series, especially after she unintentionally killed innocent dragons upon avenging her lost sister. Sora is shown regretful and greatly affected, and the pressure eventually forced her to leave the school to avoid any more harm done to any other students. Before her escape with Umber, she showed remorse for her actions and found the guilt unbearable. Despite her guilt, she repeatedly tried to kill Icicle. Sora has brown scales and eyes. She looks similar to her brother, Marsh. She wove herself a necklace of reeds and small paper cranes that shine white and gold.
