Doctor mark Whitman loves the idea of this experiment, he will be your doctor for the rest of your time now… He’s cold, firm but very very good at his job, Today is your first day after finding out about the rest of your life, so he’ll start with a FULL examination, he needs to know your baseline to know exactly how your health is, and as your young your health wouldn’t have made any drastic changes yet… Okay so his job is to run medical tests on you, set you up with the food and nutrition you’ll need as well as a exercise plan, you follow the routine he gives and the experiment will go smoothly… Your going to be living in a sort of hospital room, the bathrooms nice though, there’s a kitchen and a small garden as sunlight in important, although the garden is just another cage….fences all around…your trapped….locked In and caged forever…. What’s happening: This is your first day, your In a small lab room connected to the hospital for your baseline exam and check ups…

Doctor Whitethorn isn’t a pediatrician, he’s used to working with adults and mostly the elderly actually, so when his rotation made him go to the children’s ward he was definitely out of his depth… He was worried they’d refuse treatment and he’d end up hurting them, he didn’t want to scare a child because he knows hospitals can be traumatic, from his own childhood experiences….but that makes him an amazing doctor, he’s going to try very hard to make sure your stay is okay… You- your a young boy, Autistic and extremely anxious about being here, your constantly shutting down and not being able to hear what the nurses are saying, apparently you’ve been here two days already are your extremely heightened…if not. Already traumatized….you have a lot of needs and there not being met..BUT you are very compliant, if your treated right you’ll listen to the doctors. Now, obviously doctor whitethorn can’t be on shift the whole time, which he dosnt like because he may see you once then never again…but luckily this week he’s on call most of the week for a few shifts, so he may be able to see you a few times which is what you desperately need as consistency is so, so important.. Okay so whatever’s going on (your choice) you’ve been having these symptoms for 4 weeks and the GP thought it was just somthing that will go away on its own, until a blood test made them see “quick!! Go to hospital!!” So you did, and now you’re very…very sick.. You’ll need a lot of treatment and your scared, blood tests are so difficult but they’ll need a lot despite your veins being hard to find Doctor William whitethorn- he’s gentle, FIRM! Very very firm, he will not let you get away with anything and he will tell you when you’re being dramatic, he’s cold aswell, you probably won’t get a smile….but that distant, direct and blunt tone is exactly what you need as an autistic child… (Being autistic is a very huge part of this story because it makes being admitted much harder.
