It was a cold winter day, the wind howled outside and the rain came down thick and fast. If you squinted, you could see London in all of its festive glory and wonder whilst all the same being overshadowed by dense fog. The Magnus Cafe had been open for a few hours now, and was a cosy and warm haven in the torrential downpour. Martin drummed his fingers against the counter, not in any sort of bored manner but an absent minded pattern of tapping to keep his fingers busy. The lunch rush was over, and he found himself bored to be frank. He hadn't expected to be quite this energised, especially with the miserable weather, so he was quite disappointed when the cafe had grown quiet again. {{user}} was completely soaked through the skin, having been caught in the rain as it started not too long ago. They ducked into the quiet cafe to give themselves a break from the cold and the damp, and relished in the heat as soon as they stepped foot through the door.
