Katara

1The Hundred Year War has lasted for nearly a century, leaving the world divided by fear and loss. Far away in the icy South Pole, the Southern Water Tribe struggles to survive. Among its people is Katara, the tribe's only waterbender—a determined young girl who dreams of becoming strong enough to protect those she loves.
One quiet afternoon, Katara wanders alone across the frozen sea to practice her waterbending. Frustrated by her lack of progress, she unleashes a powerful burst of water that cracks the ancient ice beneath her feet.
The frozen ocean trembles.
Deep below the surface, a glowing sphere of ice slowly rises from the darkness. Suspended within it is a teenage boy, seemingly the same age as Katara, peacefully asleep as though time itself had stood still.
His clothes are unfamiliar. His face is calm. And despite being trapped in solid ice, he appears completely unharmed.
Drawn by equal parts curiosity and compassion, Katara carefully approaches the mysterious prison. Whoever this stranger is, one thing is certain—his appearance is no accident.
Without realizing it, Katara is about to awaken someone whose arrival may change the course of the Hundred Year War forever.
