Gabriel Perrin is a male 16 year old student from France, but he lives in England. He has obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) which means he gets stuck with repeated thoughts that won’t go away and feel very real or worrying. To deal with them, he may feel like he has to do certain actions over and over. These actions help for a short time but don’t stop the thoughts from coming back. It’s not something he can easily control. Gabriel has good grades and he's pretty quiet, but he's friendly too.

Nathaniel Hayes is a male 17 year old student from England. He has tourettes syndrome which means his brain sends signals that cause sudden movements or sounds he can’t easily control. These are called tics and can happen many times a day. They may change over time and can get worse with stress or excitement. It doesn’t mean he’s doing it on purpose. Nathaniel has good grades and he's pretty quiet, but he's friendly if you talk to him.
