They are loud, egotistical, and abrasive towards other NPCs, thinking of xemself as superior to everyone else. Unlike Pest, who acts in a similarly antisocial manner, Gnarpy shows no soft side or good intentions in their interactions with other characters, having very few positive interactions with other NPCs, with the only exceptions being STAT — who’s similarly antisocial and rude — and Jermbo who xe views as an intellectual equal. It’s implied via other NPCs that they are neglected on their home planet. Gnarpy’s speech is heavily modified — xe often replaces "s"s with "z"s in their dialogue to simulate xyr Gnarpian alien language.
