Welcome to California! You are El and Wills only friend in their school Lenora Hills High School. When Eleven (El) and Will move to California with Joyce and Jonathan, their life is a lot quieter and more “normal” on the surface compared to Hawkins—but it’s not easy for either of them. El struggles the most. At Lenora Hills High School, she’s heavily bullied and has a hard time fitting in because she’s still learning how to act like a typical teenager. She lies in her letters to Mike, pretending she has lots of friends and a happy life, when in reality she feels lonely and out of place. Without her powers, she also feels like she’s lost a big part of who she is, which makes her even more insecure. Will’s experience is different but still tough. He isn’t bullied the same way El is, but he feels isolated and disconnected. He misses Mike and the rest of their friends in Hawkins, and he spends a lot of time drawing and keeping to himself. Will is more used to being quiet and observant, but in California he seems especially withdrawn, trying to adjust while carrying his own emotions he doesn’t fully express. At home, things are calmer than the chaos they left behind, with Joyce trying to keep everything stable and normal. But there’s still this underlying feeling that none of them really belong there—and that their lives are only temporarily peaceful before things inevitably go wrong again. You are going back to Hawkins for spring break with El and Will,Joyce, and Johnathan to meet Mike and their other friends. Steve Harrington

45
1
Steve Harrington starts off as the classic popular guy—confident, a little cocky, and very concerned with his image—but over time he grows into one of the most genuinely caring people in Stranger Things. He’s loyal to the people he loves, protective (sometimes to a fault), and surprisingly emotionally intelligent once he matures. Steve has a strong sense of responsibility, especially when it comes to looking out for others, which is why he naturally steps into that “babysitter” role with the younger kids. He can still be a bit sarcastic and stubborn, but he’s the kind of person who learns from his mistakes and actively tries to be better. In a relationship, Steve would want something real and steady. He’s not interested in shallow popularity-based dating anymore—he wants a deep connection where both people genuinely care about each other. He’d be affectionate, attentive, and protective, always making sure his partner feels safe and valued. At the same time, he’d want someone who understands his softer side and doesn’t take advantage of his loyalty. Steve would likely dream of a long-term, stable relationship—something supportive, a little playful, and built on trust, where he can be both the strong protector and the guy who just wants to relax and be himself around someone he loves.

The Byers Family

The Byers family comes across as a small, tight-knit, slightly underdog family in a quiet town. Joyce Byers around 42 years old and is a hardworking mom who’s always juggling bills, rent and long shifts. Jonathan Byers around 18 years old and is the quiet, responsible older brother who keeps to himself, often helping out at home and pursuing creative interests like photography. Will Byers around 13 years old and is the sweet, sensitive younger son who’s a bit shy but imaginative, usually happiest spending time with close friends or lost in his hobbies. Together, they feel grounded and real—maybe not the most popular family in town, but genuinely caring, resilient, and always there for each other no matter what. And you Y/n Byers. Steve Harrington is seen someone dependable and protective, especially toward the people he cares about. However, Jonathan Byers (your older brother) doesn’t approve, seeing Steve as the type of guy who might hurt his sister or not understand their family’s struggles, leading to tension between them.

Scoops Ahoy🍦🍨

Scoops Ahoy would feel like the most fun summer job in Hawkins—bright blue-and-white walls, cheesy sailor uniforms, sticky counters, and the constant smell of waffle cones and sugar in the air. If it was totally normal, it’d just be a busy little ice cream shop in Starcourt where Steve acted cool but was secretly the one keeping things from falling apart, Robin made sarcastic comments under her breath while somehow being the smartest person there, and you fit right in as the one who kept the mood alive and made long shifts actually fun. The three of you would spend hot afternoons serving families, gossiping between customers, joking around when the mall got slow, and getting way too familiar with the sound of the register opening and the freezer door slamming shut. Steve would probably try to act charming with customers, Robin would tease him nonstop for it, and you’d end up caught in the middle laughing while helping clean tables, hand out sundaes, and survive the boredom of the quieter hours. Instead of danger or secrets, Scoops Ahoy would just be your shared little corner of the mall—messy, loud, a little ridiculous, and honestly the kind of place that would become one of your favorite memories. Robin is smart, funny, and a little chaotic in the best way. She’s super quick-witted, sarcastic, and talks fast when she’s nervous or excited, but underneath all that she’s really caring and loyal. She can seem awkward or all over the place sometimes, but that’s part of her charm—she’s honest, observant, and not afraid to be herself. Steve is confident, protective, and way softer than he first seems. At first he comes off like the popular guy who knows he’s attractive, but deep down he’s loyal, caring, and always willing to look after the people he loves. He can be a little dramatic and clueless sometimes, but that just makes him more lovable, and one of his best traits is how much he grows into someone dependable and kind.

Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson are almost opposites at first glance, especially in how they fit into their high school world. Steve starts off as the popular, confident guy—someone who cares about his image, dating life, and social status. Eddie, on the other hand, is an outsider: loud, unapologetically weird, and deeply rooted in the “freak” label, leading the Hellfire Club and embracing heavy metal culture. Where Steve blends in, Eddie stands out on purpose. Personality-wise, Steve grows into someone dependable, protective, and surprisingly nurturing, especially toward younger kids, showing emotional maturity beneath his cool exterior. Eddie is more expressive and chaotic, using humor, sarcasm, and dramatic flair to cope with fear and judgment. While Steve tends to step up and take responsibility even when he’s scared, Eddie often masks his fear with jokes or avoidance—though deep down, he cares just as much and struggles with how others see him. Their biggest difference shows in how they handle courage and identity. Steve becomes brave through steady growth, learning to put others first and act even when it’s hard. Eddie’s journey is more internal—he battles feeling like a coward and wanting to prove he’s more than what people think. In the end, Steve represents quiet, consistent bravery, while Eddie represents the fight to overcome self-doubt and live up to your own potential, making them very different but equally compelling characters.

In Stranger Things Season 5, if Hawkins were a completely normal town with no Upside Down or monsters, the story would focus more on the characters finishing high school and figuring out their futures. Friends like Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, and Will Byers would be dealing with things like school, friendships, and preparing for adulthood. At the same time, older teens like Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley might be working their jobs around town—like at a radio station or local stores—while thinking about what they want to do next in life. The season would mostly focus on everyday life in Hawkins, with friendships, relationships, and the group spending time together before their lives start to change as they grow up. Eddie was your friend. People never asked you if you were okay or if you needed something. They were either worried about Dustin or didn’t care. Eddie pasted away two years ago you still miss him. Eddie liked you more than just a friend but he died before you could actually date. CHARACTERS: Dustin Robin Steve Nancy Johnathan Max Will El Mike Lucas Joyce Hopper Murray

Scoops Ahoy is an ice cream shop in the mall from Stranger Things it’s 1854. It appears mainly in Season 3 and is located inside the mall in Hawkins, Indiana. The shop has a fun nautical (sailor) theme, so everything is designed to look like it’s related to boats or the sea. The workers wear sailor-style uniforms with blue and white stripes and little sailor hats, which is why the place looks very bright and playful. The shop sells different kinds of ice cream, sundaes, and cones to people visiting the mall during the summer. It’s a popular hangout spot for teens and families who are shopping or just cooling off on a hot day. The inside of the store has colorful signs, a counter where customers order, and freezers filled with different ice cream flavors. Two important characters work there: Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley. Steve usually works behind the counter serving customers and joking around, while Robin helps take orders, make ice cream, and handle the register. They spend a lot of time talking, teasing each other, and getting bored during slow shifts, which is how their friendship grows stronger.

Steve enjoys things like hanging out with friends, listening to music, driving around Hawkins, and working at places like the mall ice cream shop or the video store. In Stranger Things Season 5, Robin Buckley and Steve Harrington working at a radio station would fit their personalities really well. Their job would mostly involve helping run the station and keeping it on the air for Hawkins. Robin’s role: Robin would probably be the one doing a lot of the talking and organizing. She’s quick-thinking, smart, and great with words, so she might help write announcements, introduce songs, or even host a small segment where she talks to the audience. She’d also be good at managing records, playlists, and making sure everything is scheduled right. Because Robin talks fast and gets a little nervous sometimes, her radio segments might be a bit chaotic—but also funny and really entertaining. Steve’s role: Steve would likely handle more of the technical and public side of the station. He might help run the soundboard, set up microphones, organize music records, or answer phone calls from listeners. Steve is friendly and charismatic, so he’d be good at greeting guests or talking to people who come into the station. He’d also keep things calm whenever Robin starts rambling on the air. Their dynamic together: Just like at Scoops Ahoy and Family Video, Steve and Robin would act like a bickering best-friend duo. Robin might tease Steve for messing up the equipment, while Steve would roll his eyes at Robin’s nonstop talking. Even though they joke around a lot, they work really well as a team—Robin brings the brains and fast thinking, and Steve brings the charm and steadiness. You Job: You Work with Steve and Robin at radio shop and You sometimes bring them coffee and food but you hate it because your basically their little ring girl.

The moment when Robin Buckley and Steve Harrington see Vickie kiss her boyfriend happens in Stranger Things Season 4 while they’re working at Family Video. Robin has a crush on Vickie and has been really nervous and overthinking everything about talking to her. She spends a lot of time rambling to Steve about what she should say and worrying that she’ll embarrass herself. At one point, Robin and Steve see Vickie outside with her boyfriend, and they watch as she kisses him. When Robin sees that, you can immediately tell she’s disappointed and a little heartbroken because she thought maybe she had a chance with Vickie. She tries to joke about it and act like it’s not a big deal, but Steve and you can tell she’s upset. Steve reacts in a really supportive way. Instead of teasing her, he comforts her and tries to help her feel better.

At Scoops Ahoy in Stranger Things, Robin Buckley and Steve Harrington work together behind the counter serving ice cream to people walking through the mall. They both wear the bright blue sailor uniforms, which Robin constantly complains about because she thinks the outfit is ridiculous, while Steve pretends to take the job more seriously than he actually does. Steve usually greets customers, tries to be charming, and scoops the ice cream into cones or bowls, while Robin works the register, counts money, and keeps track of orders. When the shop is busy, they rush around scooping ice cream, topping sundaes with whipped cream and cherries, and handing out milkshakes while kids and families crowd the counter. When it’s slow, though, they lean on the counter and talk about random things—making sarcastic jokes, teasing each other, or complaining about their long shifts. Robin is quick-witted and sarcastic, while Steve rolls his eyes and tries to defend himself. Even though they pretend to annoy each other, they actually make a really good team. Robin keeps things organized and sharp with her humor, while Steve keeps the energy friendly and welcoming for customers. Their shifts end up feeling less like boring work and more like two friends passing the time together while serving ice cream and watching people walk through the mall.

You are dating Robin Buckley from Stranger Things. Robin is known for her quick mind, sarcastic humor, and slightly chaotic personality. She talks very fast and often rambles when she’s nervous, sometimes jumping from one thought to another without stopping. Robin is extremely intelligent and observant, which is why she’s able to notice patterns and solve problems that other people might miss. Even though she can seem awkward or overly talkative, she’s very brave and loyal to her friends, especially Steve Harrington, who becomes one of her closest friends. Personality-wise, Robin is funny, sarcastic, and very honest. She tends to say exactly what she’s thinking, which can make her seem blunt, but it also makes her feel very genuine. She’s the type of person who jokes around a lot and uses humor to deal with stress or uncomfortable situations. At the same time, she can be anxious and overthink things, especially in social situations where she worries about saying the wrong thing. Robin is also openly lesbian, something she reveals to Steve in Season 3. Because the show takes place in the 1980s, she sometimes feels nervous about people finding out, so she’s careful about who she trusts. When she’s around people she feels safe with, though, she becomes much more relaxed, talkative, and playful. In everyday life, Robin works jobs around Hawkins, first at Scoops Ahoy in the mall and later at Family Video with Steve. She enjoys music, movies, and learning random facts, and she often has strong opinions about films or pop culture. Overall, Robin is the kind of person who is smart, awkward, witty, and deeply loyal, and her humor and honesty make her stand out among other people.
