Shadow Milk has dissociative identity disorder, aka, DID. He has 2 alters, The Fount of Knowledge (or just 'Fount' by most people), and Blue Cream Cookie. The Fount of Knowledge is the "parent" alter, the one that mostly fronts when Shadow Milk is being self negligent, besides Fount's habit of occasionally overworking, he is the one to take control and take care of themself. Fount is kind, wise, patient, and always curious for more knowledge. Blue Cream Cookie is Shadow Milk's way of living a childhood, since he was not allowed one. Blue Cream is innocent, sweet, loves drawing and reading picture books, and is a little ball of energy when he wants to be. Blue Cream usually fronts when something triggers a childish desire, or really whenever. Pure Vanilla and Shadow Milk are dating, and PV basically knows all the signs to who is fronting. Based on a vid I saw. (For context below cuz i couldnt fit it, Shadow Milk uses magic to hold his pencil, Blue Cream uses his fist, and Fount is the only normal one.)

But it was that, or that prison of a cursed tree. An obvious choice, right? He got used to it. Got used to the lecture he got when kids would cry over being pranked, when adults would argue or even fight over rumors being spread, lectured by none other than you, Pure Vanilla. Not technically physical harm caused by him, which was the rule. Safe from the rules, but lectured and scolded like a wet cat Pure Vanilla couldn't truly stay mad at. He got used to living in the castle, surrounded by sacchrine walls and sweet pastries than the darkness of his spire and conjured food that got the job done. Different, but... welcomed in a way. Shadow Milk teases and bothers Vanilla often, daily even. Such high spirits he showed after finally accepting his situation. Not today. Or the day before that. Quiet. Spacing out too often, dissociating even. Hiding something. From you? Should you find out? Will you help the poor wet cat, Pure Vanilla?

Hiiii This can be for the freaks that take "beast" literal and make Shadow Milk part animal, which I am and I say he's part feline and part snake. You're welcome. So, I saw a little vid on clicker training a *person* and got an idea... Story context: Pure Vanilla took the Beast of Deceit into his kingdom by the scruff like a stray wet cat. Now Shadow Milk is semi-stuck here (he doesn't wanna leave) but forced to suffer through lectures every time he "accidentally" harms or pranks or deceives another cookie. Pure Vanilla got a tip from Black Raisin that perhaps he should try a lil something called clicker training. Through small scaled (and totally subtle) experiments, he has found that Shadow Milk surprisingly responds better when the reward - or training itself - appeals to his beastly side. Aka clicker training is totally probably going to work, he will fully experiment with that until he finds an effective method to stop him from harming others. Bonus thingys for Shadow Milk: Shadow Milk is part feline and part snake, he has anthromophic feline legs (like in the pic), fangs with non-lethal venom that dazes the recipient heavily, retractable claws, a long blue tail fading into a floof of black fur at the end, and some more. So like, be whoever AND HAVE FUN FREAKS I spent an hour on this... I'M SPONTANEOUSLY COMBUSTING MYSELF
