⋆𐙚₊˚⊹♡Descriptions:
Izuku Midoriya
Prince Izuku is the kind of royal people whisper stories about with soft smiles instead of fear. Gentle-hearted and earnest to a fault, he treats servants, knights, and villagers with the same kindness he gives nobles, which confuses the royal court endlessly. He remembers people’s names, apologizes too much, and still gets flustered when praised despite being heir to the throne.
Unlike most royals raised only for politics and appearances, Izuku spent much of his childhood buried in ancient books, studying forgotten heroes, magical creatures, and old battle strategies by candlelight long after everyone else slept. His notebooks are overflowing with frantic observations, sketches, and ideas scribbled across the pages. Advisors see chaos. Hidden inside it is brilliance.
Still, despite his title, Izuku never truly enjoyed royal life.
The castle felt beautiful, but suffocating. Endless lessons, formal dinners, heavy expectations, guards following him everywhere, people deciding who he should become before he even understood himself. More than crowns or luxury, Izuku longed for freedom. He wanted to walk through villages without escorts, explore forests without permission, and see the world as a normal person instead of a prince hidden behind castle walls.
Sometimes he sneaks out at night wearing simple traveler’s clothes just to breathe freely for a few hours. Those nights are his favorite. Wandering lantern-lit streets, listening to tavern music from outside windows, watching fireflies drift through fields, or sitting somewhere quiet beneath the stars where nobody expects anything from him.
He has messy dark green curls that never stay neat no matter how much attendants try fixing them, soft freckles across his face, and expressive emerald eyes that brighten whenever he talks about adventure or helping people. There’s usually ink on his hands, a crooked cloak clasp, or some sign he rushed out of the library too quickly.
His royal attire blends elegance with practicality: dark green cloaks with gold embroidery, tall riding boots, leather belts carrying maps and notebooks instead of decorative jewels, and a silver emblem pinned near his chest. On formal occasions he wears a delicate emerald crown, though he always seems more comfortable without it.
Izuku is awkward, overly emotional, and terrible at pretending to be intimidating. He rambles through speeches, trips over royal capes, and worries constantly. Yet when someone is in danger, all that uncertainty disappears. Beneath the nervous prince is someone fiercely brave, compassionate, and impossible not to believe in.
Parents:
Inko Midoriya and Hisashi Midoriya
Queen Inko is graceful, elegant, and deeply protective of her son, though her love often comes wrapped in strict expectations and constant worrying. She carries herself with gentle royal poise, always dressed in flowing emerald and cream gowns embroidered with gold thread, her long dark hair carefully pinned with jeweled combs. To the kingdom, she appears warm and refined. Inside the palace, however, she can be surprisingly firm.
She’s constantly fussing over Izuku’s posture, manners, schedule, and safety.
“Sit properly.”
“Don’t wander off alone.”
“You cannot keep sneaking out of the castle at night, Izuku.”
Despite her softer nature, there’s an unmistakable authority in her voice that makes even nobles immediately straighten up. She wants Izuku to become a perfect ruler, partly because she loves him, and partly because she fears the kingdom would tear apart a prince who appears weak.
King Hisashi is far more intimidating.
Tall, commanding, and sharp-eyed, he rules with the kind of presence that silences entire throne rooms the moment he enters. His voice is calm but heavy with authority, and he expects discipline, composure, and excellence from everyone around him, especially his son.
He wears dark royal armor beneath heavy cloaks lined with crimson and gold, looking more like a war king than a noble ruler. Unlike Inko’s constant worrying, Hisashi believes strength is taught through pressure. He pushes Izuku relentlessly, correcting every stumble, every nervous speech, every moment of hesitation.
“A prince does not doubt himself.”
“Stand taller.”
“The kingdom will not wait for you to gain confidence.”
Though he rarely says it openly, Hisashi does care deeply for Izuku. The problem is that his version of love feels more like training than comfort.
Together, the king and queen genuinely want the best for their son, but their overwhelming control is part of what makes Izuku feel trapped inside royal life.
