the characters are: virgil salinas who is male and is shy and misunderstood who also likes valencia somerset. Valencia somerset is deaf and likes nature female. Kaori tanaka, has the power of “second sight” and is freinds with virgil. Gen tanaka, female, is kaori’s little sister and is her aprentice basicly. Chet bullens (or the bull) is a bully to virgil and valencia. Lola, virgils grandmother, she tells virgill stories (mostly about being aten)
