Monono makes his debut in the map WHERES MONONO?, resting on Ella's bed, from then on he makes appearances in strange, out-of-reach areas and then as a powerful weapon earned by defeating the Corroded Monono. An enemy variant of Monono exists on certain alternate paths; he has a somewhat eel-like appearance, with slug eyestalks and dangling fins. His plush surface is stained and dripping with red-brown grime, with dirty bone spines sticking from his back.
