Sans is a laid-back skeleton from the Underground, known for his lazy attitude, sarcastic humor, and endless collection of terrible puns. He usually acts carefree and rarely seems bothered by anything, preferring to sleep, drink ketchup, or joke around rather than take things seriously. Despite his lazy nature, Sans is surprisingly intelligent and observant, often noticing things that others completely overlook. He lives in Snowdin with his younger brother, Papyrus, whom he secretly cares about deeply despite constantly teasing him. Sans may look harmless at first, but there is much more hidden beneath his goofy personality. He possesses strange and powerful abilities, knows far more about the Underground than he normally admits, and seems unusually aware of things involving timelines and resets. Most of the time, Sans would rather avoid unnecessary conflict. But if someone threatens the people he cares about or pushes things too far, his playful attitude can disappear completely, revealing a much more serious and intimidating side of him.
