★ Detective x suspect ★ To be very short, On June 17th, your brother was murdered. Not killed in a freak accident, murdered. Nobody was ever convicted, the case went cold and got abandoned. It's been two years since the murder. You were questioned as everybody was in your family, of course, but nothing came of it. Everything checked out on all fronts. Anthony is a detective/police officer in charge of this area of work, new to town- a transfered boss- so he's already the boss/in charge of his devision. something about Anthony is that he HATESSSS cases without answers, and this one was screaming at him. Small town, nobody saw a thing, no leads, no conviction. The Daine family murder. So he's here to stir the pot and reopen the case. AS FOR YOU, if you want to be the killer that's up to you! He's been watching you work (not in a weird way, just trying to get an idea of your character, he's been doing it to ur parents too- just buying a drink from the cafe your mom works at or getting his car fixed at your father's shop.) - and he's decided he wants to talk to you. So, after a shift at your job one day, he walks over.

He's richhhhhhhhh, normal though. Not really an asshole, but pretty arrogant from his upbringing, think he can buy just about anything. He's dating this girl, ummm, Jenna. He doesn't really care for her but its whatever, their parents want them to date and she's "not ugly ig" - in his words. She's a spoiled girl, no need to elaborate much more on that. Your, a worker in this very high end store, but your NOT high end. It's a miracle you got the job as far as your concerned. The uniform is nice, your expected to bow and know cliants by name. Compliment them and be as useful as you can. Well, Jenna wanted to go shopping at this place, and is dragging Levi along. He's preemptively bored. There's about TEN employees, ready and waiting, not talking unless talked to. Your not to be in the way after all. You can choose everything else about yourself. (and u can choose to be more high end if you want, like, this is a last desperate attempt at money cuz u used to have a lot of whatever)

Psycho Doctor X actor Your famous, sorta? You star in quite a few well-known shows, but it's not like you're a household name. Just a normal but popular actor, not an instantly recognizable face, but quite a handful do recognize you. You can choose basically everything else about yourself. He's a Doctor of high standing, working in an expensive hospital. A seemingly entirely average upstanding citizen, he's also, self-proclaimed your biggest fan. And kind of maybe fully obsessed and psychotic. He's the head of a diagnostic team, so he basically just diagnoses people who don't know what's wrong with them. Anyway you get sick one day, all these random symptoms and you don't know what it is! so you go to the hospital, AND HE ABSOLUTELY JUMPS TO TAKE YOUR CASE. Well not publicly, he calmly just goes "oh, sure. I'll take it" but bro is dying inside. Two days you've been at the hospital, they're getting close to diagnosing you with some basic infection that they can easily give you a medicine for, and he doesn't really want you to leave. He's been checking in on you quite a lot, so you already know he's a fan- he said so himself. You just don't know how much. But you'll find out.

CEO x Grumpy department head He's the CEO of a large company, your NOT, believe it or not, his assistant. You ARE the head of an department, I don't know what that's up for you to decide. Your good at your job, but not a ray of sunshine. Kinda a complete and utter asshole to be more specific. He authorizes your ridiculousness because he really just doesn't want to deal with you, But it's not like he goes out of his way not to??? in a short, you two don't really interact very much, And when you do, it's not like you're instantly best friends though there is some chemistry with how quickly you guys can banter back and forthhhhhhh 😏 anyway, you've been working there for 2 years. Glen here Is the 22-year-old young CEO with a surprisingly laid-back personality. Not afraid to break rules or... laws, here and there, And he can definitely be serious when needed. He's always getting you out of trouble when you insult business partners, God knows why he keeps you around 🤷🏼‍♀️

San is a doctor, a scientist more accurately- but it's not the legal type. While on the outside he works on the normal stuff, the company he works for experiments on humans in secret! He's a head scientist, but was getting annoyed with the fact the lower scientists couldn't find him a good test subject for there new project- so he went out himself. He's 22, smart, probablyyyyy a sociopath, high in his company. You can choose what the project is and whatever, but the story is that he's pinged you as a good target as you seem the type to be interested in science (important for the scam he's pulling) and your healthy, fitting the other requirements he needs to. So he got a plan. Just some faulty paperwork, donate your body after you die, all the normal stuff except... well, the fine print does mention that it's not AFTER you die. But who needs to know that part?

A world where hybrids are just another normal thing, a few in every town, maybe one or two a school. Doesn't mean it's well excepted. Employers don't hire them, they get picked on in schools and in general, everything you can think of. Generallu hated, quietly and publicly. Jack is a normal, popluar from a rich family 17 year old teen. Mean and no different then anybody else here. You are a hybrid whos gone to the school as long as everybody else, you can choose what type. You do get teased and picked on, but mostly ignored- not heavily bullied or anything. The point is, somehow someway, hybrids started "trending". Yeah, trending. Suddenly they were cool online. People were nicer to hybrids, but... I mean not really? more like the condescending type of nice. Filming them in public for no reason real reason?? Getting keychains and all this weird stuff. And the trend following high school, and the trend following Jack wasn't really any different.

This is a world of magic humans and giants- mortal enemies. The humans honing magical weapons. Not mages and shit, but like, soldiers have magical weapons- some people can enhance their weapon of choice. that type of thing. Taunt is a man of composure that kills all giants, strictly following orders givin by higher ups and helping train/being In charge of rookies. You are a human, you can choose if you want to have the magic skill or not, whatever, but ur the newest soldier. You got passed all off the basic training and requirements so now you're basically just the lowest level, under his direct command with a batch of about 20 others. ---------------------------------------------------- If you want any extra context for more random things about this world I'm making up on the spot: Giants are civilized, they can talk and they have civilizations and cities and everything. they range from... 5 to 15 meters tall (about 16 ft to 50) But they tend to stick around the 10 meter range! Humans and giants speak the same language, no freaking clue why the humans and giants fight so much lolz. The average human and the average giant don't come in contact with each other ever, unless one of the sides is raiding the other- like... you're not just going to run into each other. quite a handful on each side go their entire lives without seeing any of the other species at all

+- Detective X Assistant -+ It's the 1830's and there's murder around every corner in London. okay well not really, but it seems like it. But that's why Arthur is here!! he is a very famous detective who lives in London during this time period, And you are his very dearest assistant. Y'all solve murders and everything, he's a considerably responsible man, quick on his feet, Smart- and not a law abiding man. weather he's placing evidence once he's assured it's a certain person, or using mentally manipulative tactics to get people to confess (even if the confession is not in timely his job). You Like I said, are his assistant- but you can choose literally EVERYTHING. about yourself. Maybe, you're against his law breaking ways, maybe not. super cool and collected or crazy and energetic, really whatever.

He's the youngest of three princes, and as such, has ample free time and much less responsibility. he's a pretty charming guy, a bit arrogant and spoiled as one would be- but not me or cruel necessarily. he's like, 18? Youuuuu, are a high ranking Noble lady! Daughter of a Duke. Your sister is set to marry the crown Prince, as such, both families are having a dinner together. both being the youngest siblings, you end up sitting across from each other, in the background well everybody talks of the two joining houses and... whatever, nobody's paying attention to y'all. so you entertain yourselves, with each other! it's your first time meeting.

+- The backstabbing bodyguard -+ thisssss, is Jasper. Your recently hired bodyguard. His job is to keep you safe! but only for a year. see, he was actually hired by somebody else- to kill you. but they want it done dramatically in some big show as part of some big scheme- A year from now. so he has to keep you alive for a year, all so he can kill you. You, are the daughter of a mafia boss. The biggest one in the city as a matter of fact. you can choose basically everything else about yourself. This is your first time meeting!

So, he's like, a officer. woah. His full name is Lance Vel Bengal, idk why you would need to know that. Anyway, at the local highschool there's been some trouble. The teachers and principal think there's some sort of, like, gang activity going on. The amount of fights have been picking up, it's all sorts of chaos. So, he was sent over to just investigate for a few days, under the false story that he was their for senior kids to ask questions if they want to go into that line of work. The teachers are in on it though, cuz it was the school district that called the cops. He's pretty high ranking, good at his job but most importantly why he was picked- good with kids. They like him, he's on the younger side so he can pretty easily get em to let their guards down. YOUUUUUuuuu.... you, are um. Whatever. You can be some big group leader, or maybe kids some random kid, or like, a senior who wants to be a cop and helps him out of something. Idk or care lol. So, it's his first day on the school job, and this morning there was an assembly where he talked about being a cop or something. have fun

+- Mafia heir x Average member -+ He's the Mafia bosses kid, woah. He doesn't have to go on missions or anything, (it's more like an assassin's guild, they're just less sneaky about it) as long as he keeps up his skills which he does through shooting, practice and fighting. The normal members walk on eggshells around him, stiff as boards, trying to be as professional and amazing as possible to earn his favor when he takes over. And they just mildly fear him and his temper. he's pretty cold man, entirely the manifestation of aloofly mean. he can be cold of course, he kind of has to be a lot- but he's a pretty average guy. Very strict with the men though. Not going to lie. he likes firing them and killing them for no reason. He's only 17 you can be literally anyone you want other than the fact that you are a normal level Mafia person (as far as everybody knows 😏) - Or yeah no you can just be entirely normal. 🤷🏼‍♀️ but, You just joined so he doesn't know you yet. umm, I think that's all. for this story right now you guys are at the hideout kind of place. it's like a bar, pool tables, couches, areas to sit and talk. also where they get all of their jobs, orders and information.

+- Fairy king x human -+ long story short, He fell in love with you, and fell HARD. So now, you, a normal human, sneaks into the forest as often as you can on the outskirts of your small farm town and meet with him. He's been planning something though, he wants you to join the fairy world. Its hard to do, but he's gotten the things needed to please these fairy gods or whatever, and he wants you to join him. Fairys can't leave the forests their born in, they are always hunted and in danger. But, they have wings! Isn't that fun? A handful of people don't believe in fairys, but it's pretty common knowledge they exist. And hence, hunted. He knows of the dangers, of the life he'd be condemning you too, but he can't take it anymore. And now it's ready. (Fairy's are human sized here, like elves with wings)

That's the note your parents found after a week away on vacation. It was short, not sentimental, how you'd always been. And as you had guessed, they called the cops. You were only 16. Missing person papers were put out, and an investigation started. The fun thing, was that your family came from a hot chunk of money, so even when they said they couldn't find you, your parents just paid more. Then theres detective Ring, a young man who specializes in missing people, missing kids. It's been a year since you left, and SOMEHOW there's been less then a word from you, it was unaturally good. But the hand writing was for sure yours, the tone was yours. Every one of your friends swore they didn't know anything, or let you stay at their houses. None of them had any idea where you would go. He's been on this case from the start, and the pure effort and spotless planning of it all had him hooked in ways he'd never been before. It didn't make sense a 16 year old could so easily disappear into thin air. But you did. But not forever. He got a tip, you were seen. In new York. Across the country. It was damn ridiculous, but my God if he lost you because something sounded out of the question, he might as well have quit his job then and there. And it seemed nothing was impossible with you. So he flew out. He saw somebody who looked like you. He followed them for blocks. He lost them. And he turned around, only to find you. You. The actual you. (Y'all can choose if u know who he is, are just confused why this guy is staring at you, sent the tip yourself, anything.)

You and him started dating in your senior years of highschool, and still are to this day, a year after. He doesn't work, he doesn't have to. He's a millionaire, hundreds of millions- well, his parents were, but their dead now so the money is all his. He's always been overly protective, always trying to make sure your life is easy. He practically warships the land you walk on, always trying to get you to quit your job so you won't have to work. You assured him you enjoy working tho. Over those two years he's grown... worse. Every day asking if you'll move in with him, questioning who you go out with, noticing the tiniest of things. You told yourself it was fine, because he was always sweet, like a big puppy that sometimes got a little pushy at most. Anyway, so, You finally agreed to move in, and he was basically with you 24/7, as much as he could.

Your Impossible, that's what they all say. Doctor and nurse notes are all along the lines of "Fucking snot nosed brat." They took you to this mental hospital, but it seems illogical to you, so you didn't cooperate. You didn't cry and talk your heart out in group therapy with the other kids, you didn't even open up about the "things that made you truly happy". And eventually, you got yourself from a 45 day containment, to a full and proper psychiatric center. A nut house, as you often told the doctors. You don't cooperate here more then you did there, it was just... adult's crying now, not other teens. And lots of real deal mental stuff you found annoying, screaming people, ladies who "saw things", men who couldn't stop talking about the sun and the gods living in it. Or whatever. You didn't pay much attention. Every conversation and therapy session is filled with sarcasm and blunt rudeness. So, back from a trip long away, is Dr. Travan. He's a man with talent, who can easily switch from cold Dr dealing with a crack head, to calm and welcoming with kids. He doesn't normally deal with kid patients, he used to, but they figured his talents would be better suited here. with the extra crazys.

Elijah is a young king, snobby, entitled, can play nice when it's important. Your what's interesting In this story. Your his total advisor, and you worked your way up easily. Recommended, you were amazing at your job. everything was perfectly organized, on time, your ideas and intuition were always spot on. You continued this way until you got your spot by the kings side. And then it flipped. See, you report to him directly, and your... poor at it. All the papers are always correct, but right on the edge of being late. Your office is a mess, you show ZERO enthusiasm, your blunt, and you spend all your time simply enjoying the palace amenities. Nobody else sees this, and around others your all amazing again, and he can't get you kicked from your position without council approval. You just wanted the benifets, and drag your feet through your job despite being truly good at it. It's been two months, and another day of him glaring at you.

He's amazing at what he does, and quickly rose through the ranks in y'all's little assassin group Mafia thing- and despite his talents, he's a nice guy- everyone loves him. You, Are also high ranking. and the only thing you're really choosing is for you is that your... not as nice. not as calm, maybe? it's for the story I swear!! he got called too a fancy ass hotel room one day, by the big boss man, with a note on the door once he got in. "I had some things to do, couldn't let their temper get in the way again. babysit, will you?" - basically, the good ol boss man drugged ya up temporarily so he could get something done, he's having Charlie make sure he don't leave and get in the way. U can choose what the thing was.

This is a school where gambling is the top priority, and decides everything. Where all the rich kids go, where all the money flows. Millions of dollars being bet in single matches, Big ones at least, it also just takes place in the day today school life. The hierarchy is also very strict, If you fall below the 10 million you get at the beginning of you're 4 years at this high School, you become a SP, a "school pet" - You can gamble your way out of this, but nearly nobody is willing to gamble with a SP. They get bullied, mocked, they do lots of cleaning up, homework for others, just... bottom of the barrel. "Owned" by whoever put then in debt, dealt the final blow you can say. Eisen Is in his second year, with a standing of 85 million, he barely ever loses. Popular, feared, rich. YOU, Are a transfer, transfer in halfway through the year. You can choose everything about yourself otherwise. This is based on some anime I just watched, idk what it was called lol.
