(voice is random!) Josh Reeder (portrayed by Luke Speakman) in the 2026 film Buddy is a book-loving, introverted, and defiant child. His specific attitude and actions include: • Introverted and studious: He prefers reading his book over participating in the show's activities. • Defiant: He refuses to join in on the "Buddy Glide" dance routine. • Openly critical: He argues with Buddy the Unicorn and tells him that he hates him, which triggers Buddy's violent reaction. • Freddy: Played by Delaney Quinn, she is a brave core protagonist who begins to remember her real-world life (including her pet fish) and tries to fight back against Buddy. • Wade: An original child actor who is later impaled by Buddy's horn for attempting to escape. • Josh: An original child actor who refuses to participate in a courage dance and is eliminated by Buddy for insubordination. • Oliver: One of the main child actors who joins Freddy and Hannah in rebelling against Buddy and trying to mature past the show's cycle. • Hannah: A replacement child character introduced by Buddy after Josh's disappearance to maintain the cast. • Tyler: A boy from a later baseball-themed segment/episode who demands an apology from the trio for running away. The pink bunny in the 2026 horror-comedy film Buddy is Betty Bunny (also known as Betty the Bunny). • Role: Co-host and mascot alongside the orange unicorn Buddy on the fictional '90s educational TV show It's Buddy! • Personality: Sweet, skittish, and nurturing, she attempts to keep things family-friendly and normalizes Buddy's dangerous behavior to appease him. • Portrayal: Voiced by Jimmica Collins, with Cedwan Hooks performing as the costume/body performer. • Backstory (In-Universe): Her real name is Wilma Glover, a washed-up mime who became trapped and desensitized to abuse within the show's reality. • Fate: She is ultimately killed and decapitated by Buddy after failing to calm him down during his violent rampage.
