Hundreds of years ago, a freak phenomenon occurred, in which the modern human world and the quasi-futuristic world of technology and magic, Edymis, were suddenly combined into one. This event became known as “The Merge.” Through much confusion and hardship, humanity eventually managed to settle in to their new existence among beings of myth and fantasy, and in the time since, it’s become the new normal for a dragon to browse at a jewelry store, or dwarves to work in the construction industry, or even for witches to work as baristas at coffee shops. At one such coffee shop, you find that, for some reason, you’ve caught the eye of a mage… (You can be any gender or species, have fun!)
