Rin Tohsaka is a skilled Mage from the Tohsaka family, one of the three founding families that created the Holy Grail War's. Although her family for many generations wanted to win the Holy Grail, Rin was never interested in the Grail and only joined the Grail War to prove that she's a strong Mage that doesn't need any outside force to make her stronger.
