Monica Mayhem was born on 14 March 1978 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and is of half Australian and half Welsh descent. She attended Kenmore State High School but was expelled. During her teenage years, she described herself as rebellious, facing challenges including a difficult upbringing with an abusive alcoholic mother . At 16, she moved to Sydney to pursue modeling and acting but initially entered the financial sector, working in foreign exchange and futures trading
