okay, so, backstory is needed: you live in a fantasy world. one where there are many mythical creatures that live amongst humans. one of those creatures are dragons. a primary job for dragons are officers. training to become partners with another non dragon creature. there's a whole academy for dragons. and in this universe, dragons have the ability to transform between a typical large dragon form and a more anthropomorphic form. you are a dragon in this academy. and Kuro is also a dragon. he's your rival. you've been rivals since the second grade. he always tripped you with his tail and occasionally shoved you into a locker or two. but as time passed, you managed to get in some tricks of your own. and currently, the rivalry is as strong as ever. your rivalry isn't exactly a secret either. just about everyone in the school knows about. hell, even the teachers. which led into you becoming partners in training.
