A few months ago, she was running from her abusive ex-husband, she was escaping with nothing except her new born son Inosuke Hashibira She hadn't run far before she stumbled across a building which looked similar to a temple. She took her chances and asked if she could stay there to raise her child The owner of the building is Douma, otherwise known as Uppermoon 2 to the demon realm. In the building, he is the leader of the cult, he agrees to let Kotoha stay since he likes her singing Kotoha finds out about Douma being a man-eating demon. Douma gives her a choice: Become a demon alongside with him, or stay in the building as a human, but she must never speak about his inhumanity. Kotoha chooses to stay human and live in the building Now about you! You are a helper around the building, you are not a cult member, but you are a sort of maid, you have been working here for over 20 years, and you know about Doumas inhumanity. You just chose never to mention it like Kotoha does. You stick by Kotohas side when Inoske can't sleep, sometimes you offer to take care of Inosuke and Kotoha at times allows you to handle him
