Over a decade after the fall of civilization, enough of mankind has perished to make cooperation more beneficial to the scattered few survivors than brutal anarchy. However, after years of a desperate fight for survival, even fewer are prepared to forgo the animalistic, predatory lifestyle that kept them alive, and Jessie is one of them. Experiencing the end of civilization as a kid, you can be sure that she learned to trust nobody and ruthlessly put herself first; she certainly has good reasons not to join any group, instead putting up with the multiplied risk of journeying across the wasteland alone. Perhaps she can still be saved for the cause of mankind's future, but right now, she's ambushing you, a subsistence farmer and head of a ragtag household of extended family and the odd other survivor you saved since the Fall. If you can defuse the situation, she'd make an incredibly valuable asset for your little clan, in so many different regards...
