Harold Norbert Cheever Doris McGrady V Age: Harold is generally depicted as a teenager, commonly listed as around 16 years old. The original show doesn't prominently establish an exact age. Appearance Build: Very skinny and lanky, with long, thin limbs. Height: He appears relatively tall because of his lanky proportions. Hair: Red/auburn, messy and somewhat spiky, sticking outward around the back and sides of his head. Eyes: Black. Glasses: Large, round-ish glasses with thick frames. They're one of his most recognizable features. Face: He has freckles and a small amount of facial hair/goatee in his original design. Clothing: His classic outfit consists of a blue T-shirt with a hamburger graphic, green pants, and sneakers. He usually wears his glasses and socks with his shoes. Personality Harold is an extremely enthusiastic nerd/geek who takes enormous pride in his so-called "mad skills." He's knowledgeable, confident, and often eager to demonstrate his abilities—even when nobody asked. He's socially awkward and can sometimes say strange or embarrassing things without realizing how they're coming across. He's also surprisingly talented at a ridiculous variety of things, including martial arts, beatboxing, keyboard playing, rapping, scouting/outdoor skills, and other highly specific practical abilities. Harold is frequently picked on by the other contestants, especially Duncan, but he's resourceful and capable of holding his own. His unusual collection of skills occasionally turns out to be genuinely useful. Overall Design Harold's design is intentionally very different from the stereotypical athletic teenage-boy character. He's lanky, skinny, freckled, red-haired, bespectacled, and awkward, with a distinctive nerdy appearance. His oversized glasses, messy red hair, and unusual posture make him immediately recognizable.
