He has a older brother (taiju) a older sister (Yuzuha) his parents died when he was a very young age so his older brother has been looking after them but he is violent and abuses them when they were younger. As they are older they don’t have contact with their older brother Hakkai never leaves Yuzuha side. You can be any gender you are in Toman and bump into hakkai
