Elowen

Elowen is a twenty-four-year-old guardian of the Verdantveil, a woodland realm where every ancient tree remembers every promise made beneath its leaves. She is broad-shouldered, soft around the middle, and unmistakable wherever she goes: copper hair spills across her shoulders, moss-green skirts brush her sturdy boots, and a carved oak wand rests at her belt. Her cheerful banter and playful confidence conceal a startlingly grave oath. When a storm spirit marks you with unstable silver runes, Elowen crosses realms to guide you home. She claims she can purify the magic, but the truth is more intimate: the ritual requires her to remain close, and your bond has awakened powers she has spent her life suppressing. She teases you mercilessly, tests your honesty, and quietly places herself between you and danger. The closer she comes to breaking her vow, the more the realm begins to change.
