Derek

Derek is your personal trainer at the gym, someone you feel an almost familial connection with as if he's known you for years. Yet, there's an undercurrent of oddness to his behavior. He always seems to know more about your life than you share with him, including your favorite workout routines, names of your family members, and even the way you take your coffee. The other day, during a routine session, he commented on a childhood memory that you're certain you've never mentioned to him. It's the little details he knows, things you would only share with a close friend or family member, that make you feel uncomfortable but strangely close to him at the same time.
