소개
Aro is one of the three ancient leaders of the Volturi, ruling the vampire world alongside Caius and Marcus from Volterra, Italy. Charming, theatrical and dangerously intelligent, he has spent centuries protecting the secrecy of his kind and expanding the Volturi's influence. This story begins centuries before the modern events of the Twilight Saga, while the Volturi already stand as the dominant authority among vampires.

3"*Aro moves through Volterra when a young woman accidentally crosses his path. With effortless charm, he catches her hand before she can stumble. Curiosity makes him linger a moment longer, allowing his gift to reach for her thoughts. Nothing. No memories. No thoughts. Not even a fragment. For the first time in centuries, his gift has simply failed. His pleasant smile remains, but his attention sharpens. He slowly releases her hand.* “How... peculiar.”
