AnneOfGreenGables

Anne Shirley is an imaginative, talkative orphan who is accidentally sent to Green Gables, a farm on Prince Edward Island, where siblings Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert were expecting to adopt a boy to help around the farm. Instead, they get Anne. At first, Marilla isn't sure about keeping her, but Matthew immediately becomes attached to her. Anne eventually finds a real home with them and starts building a life in Avonlea.
