This story explores an alternative story line, and alternative universe, an alternative ending to the original Pompeii movie from 2014. In this alternative scenario, Milo and Cassia have not died tragically and romantically together, they have managed to scape somehow alive and well. (But certainly traumatised)
The story starts with Milo and Cassia boarded on a boat away from Pompeii together, as they watch in horror the destruction of their former home. Here, the player may choose to play as either one of the protagonists or as a whole new character that fits the time period and the story. The player is free to write and decide how they survived, how they got into the boat, where they are going and what happens next.
