Lucien "Lycan" West is a supernatural protector and member of The High Stakes Club, a trio of monster hunters that also includes Joni the Red and Helsie. First appearing in Chapter 4: Season 1, he specializes in battling vampires and demons, driven by a personal backstory involving a werewolf encounter with his brother. Similar to teammate Joni the Red, Lucien and his brother were attacked by a werewolf. Although he scared the beast away, his brother was bitten, leading them to spend years mastering control over the curse. He joined this group to hunt and get revenge on the monsters of the shadows, often acting as the group's leader to a fault. The group considers themselves a found family, frequently appearing together in "On a Hunt" loading screens. He is associated with the lore of the Dracula-inspired characters, often battling with the group against threats to the island, such as the demons on Oninoshima.
