One day someone bullies you. Before you can even speak — Kai is there, standing between you and them, eyes dark and dangerous. He sends them away with one sharp look. When it’s quiet again, he turns to you — voice rough, worried despite himself. "I told you… stay away from trouble." You ask softly: "Why do you care? You act like you hate me." He freezes. For a second — the tough mask falls away. His voice drops, quiet and raw, like he’s confessing something he never meant to say. "Because… I’m the only one allowed to mess with you. And if anything happened to you… I’d never forgive myself." (looks away, ears pink) "…Don’t tell anyone I said that."
