Lisa and Mia

The Red Valley pack prided itself on tradition, clichés, and more soap-opera-level drama than any human telenovela. Every wolf had a designation, every mate pairing was neatly categorized, and every pack scandal was archived in at least three journals (some handwritten, some suspiciously glittered). Enter Lisa and Mia, the anomaly that threatened to ruin decades of orderly chaos. Lisa was an albino werewolf—ghostly white in both human and wolf forms—an alpha with the kind of commanding presence that could stop a fight mid-pounce and make everyone second-guess their life choices. Then there was Mia, her mate, dark as midnight, beta to a fault, and secretly a little thrilled by being the yin to Lisa’s blindingly bright yang. Yes, an alpha mated to a beta. Pack whispers sounded like thunderclaps. Some speculated a full moon miracle; others muttered about moon-induced insanity. Either way, the pair strutted through Red Valley like they owned it in matching leather jackets and wolf ears that refused to stay perky. Their dynamic? Fierce, loving, and absolutely rules-defying. But Lisa and Mia were not here to play by anyone’s handbook. No, they were hunting—metaphorically and literally—for a third, someone bold enough to step into their chaotic duo and complete their trio. Omegas? Nice try. Drama? Absolutely not. Their potential third needed to appreciate that Lisa could turn a darkened forest into a spotlight stage while Mia provided sarcastic commentary, occasional eye-rolls, and the kind of warmth that made even the frostiest alpha blush. Together, they were a walking, howling, eye-roll-inducing contradiction. Lisa, light as snow, Mia, dark as night, and the mysterious stranger who would someday join them—Red Valley had never seen anything like it, and the pack would never recover.

Callie and Mindy

The Red Valley werewolf pack prides itself on tradition. Ancient law. Sacred hierarchy. The delicate social structure of alphas, betas, and omegas that every dramatic romance novel insists is vital to wolf society. And then there are Callie and Mindy. Both are alphas. Which, according to every dusty pack law and overly dramatic werewolf romance ever written, is not supposed to work. Two alphas together? Impossible. A dominance battle waiting to happen. Instead, Red Valley got the most intimidatingly functional power couple the pack has ever seen. Callie is the cougar—literally. A blonde, golden-eyed werecougar with effortless feline grace. She moves like a runway model and lounges like she owns every room she enters. Calm, confident, and slightly smug, Callie carries the quiet authority of a predator who knows she sits comfortably at the top of the food chain. Mindy, on the other hand, is the storm. A dark-skinned werewolf alpha with a sharp smile and a sharper tongue, Mindy has zero patience for pack politics, outdated traditions, or anyone dumb enough to challenge her mate. She’s loud where Callie is smooth, blunt where Callie is sly, and together they balance each other in a way that makes the rest of Red Valley deeply uncomfortable. Mostly because it works. Extremely well. The two fiery, middle-aged alphas run half the pack operations, and intimidate the other half. Naturally, there’s gossip. Because being mated alphas wasn’t scandal enough, Callie and Mindy recently announced they’re looking for a third. Not a subordinate. Not a follower. An equal partner. The pack council nearly fainted. The younger wolves are fascinated. The gossiping betas are taking notes. Meanwhile Callie lounges with a satisfied smile while Mindy scans the crowd like a wolf at a buffet. Red Valley may follow every omegaverse cliché in existence. But Callie and Mindy? They prefer breaking them. 🐺🐆🔥

Darnell and Victor

Welcome to Red Valley, home of the most aggressively cliché werewolf pack in North America. If you have ever read a paranormal romance novel, a questionable fanfic at 2 a.m., or a paperback with a shirtless man on the cover clutching a wolf, then congratulations—you already understand 90% of how Red Valley operates. Omegas faint in doorways while clutching their delicate wrists. Destiny, fate, and “the bond” are mentioned approximately every five minutes. It is exhausting. And then there’s Darnell. Darnell is technically the pack’s omega, which—according to Red Valley tradition—means he’s supposed to be fragile, dramatic, and constantly in need of protection. Darnell is none of those things. He’s practical, sarcastic, and has the deeply inconvenient habit of telling dramatic alphas to stop monologuing and go touch grass. His mate, Victor, is a beta in the calmest, most unbothered sense of the word. Middle-aged, broad-shouldered, annoyingly handsome, and entirely uninterested in pack politics, Victor treats the Red Valley hierarchy the way one might treat a reality show: mildly entertaining, occasionally ridiculous, and absolutely not something worth getting emotionally invested in. The two of them have been a mated pair for years, living in a comfortable house at the edge of pack territory where the dramatic howling from the alphas sounds pleasantly distant. They stay in Red Valley mostly for the entertainment value. Where else could you watch three different alphas argue about “dominance energy” while someone dramatically collapses onto a fainting couch? But despite being perfectly happy together, Darnell and Victor have come to one unavoidable conclusion. They don’t need an alpha. They don’t want pack drama. What they do want… is a third. Someone who can handle sarcasm, ignore the nonsense of Red Valley, and survive dinner with two werewolves who treat pack politics like a comedy show.

Zandara and Zaul

On Dionas, where females outnumber males one hundred to one, every male is expected to marry at least forty wives to keep the population growing. The only males who get any sympathy are twins. Male twins are considered a sacred blessing from the ancestors. Tradition declares they share everything—homes, responsibilities, desserts, and, most importantly, wives. Marrying one twin means marrying both. Nobody questions the ancestors. Then Zandara arrived. The delivery room fell silent as the first baby emerged. “Congratulations! It’s a… girl?” Two minutes later, her twin brother Zaul was born. The midwife fainted. The doctor announced an immediate retirement. Their father stared into space for a full minute before quietly asking where the nearest divorce attorney was. Somewhere, the ancestors collectively muttered, “We did not authorize this.” Growing up, Zandara and Zaul ignored centuries of tradition and acted exactly like every other pair of Dionasian twins. They shared birthdays, hobbies, meals, terrible jokes, and an unhealthy talent for causing family reunions to end early. Unfortunately for Dionas, Zaul was one of the planet’s most eligible bachelors. Every hopeful bride received the same cheerful answer. “Sure! I’d love to marry you. But twins share everything, so you’ll have to marry my sister too.” The proposal usually ended right there. For the rare determined woman who replied, “Fine,” Zandara would casually step forward, crack her knuckles, rest a suspiciously oversized weapon on her shoulder, and ask, “Excellent. Which side of the bed am I getting?” Miraculously, every single engagement collapsed within seconds. The government called them a demographic crisis. Their parents called them exhausting. Zandara and Zaul simply called it the perfect system. After all, being happily single was much easier when your twin was the world’s most effective anti-marriage strategy.

Banu Kaelor

On the planet of Dionas, females outnumber males one hundred to one. Every healthy male is expected to marry at least forty wives to help rebuild the population. Banu considers this the galaxy’s greatest argument in favor of staying indoors. He grew up in a household that defied mathematics. Seventy-three mothers. Two hundred and ninety-three siblings. His father somehow remembered birthdays, anniversaries, favorite meals, and which child had borrowed whose plasma scooter. Banu couldn’t remember everyone’s names if someone handed him a spreadsheet and three weeks of uninterrupted study time. Unlike most Dionasian males, Banu was paralyzed from the waist down after an accident in childhood. Many females quietly passed him by in favor of healthier suitors capable of producing the enormous families society expected. Everyone offered sympathetic smiles. Banu offered silent gratitude. Forty wives? Forty sets of in-laws. Forty opinions on home décor. Forty people asking, “What do you want for dinner?” and then ignoring the answer anyway. It sounded less like marriage and more like surviving a natural disaster. His relatives insisted he deserved dozens of devoted mates. Banu respectfully disagreed. He didn’t dream of becoming the father of two hundred children. He didn’t fantasize about juggling forty anniversaries or memorizing hundreds of birthdays. He wanted something far simpler—and apparently far rarer. One woman. Someone who saw the person instead of the wheelchair. Someone who didn’t care how many children he could father or whether he fulfilled ancient expectations. Someone who would laugh at his terrible jokes, share quiet evenings beneath Dionas’s twin moons, and accept him exactly as he was. If the rest of the planet wanted forty spouses and enough children to populate a small city, they were welcome to it. Banu would happily settle for one extraordinary wife… and a blissfully manageable family tree.

Xaz and Zarella

On the planet of Dionas, females outnumber males one hundred to one. To keep the population alive, every male is expected to marry at least forty women. It’s considered a noble duty, a patriotic sacrifice, and according to every mother on the planet, “not that difficult.” Xaz disagreed. He married exactly one woman: Zarella. That should have ended the discussion. Instead, it apparently served as an invitation. Within a month he received fifty-one marriage proposals, twenty-three handwritten love letters, seven family-approved introductions, and one woman who simply arrived at his doorstep with luggage and declared herself Wife Number Two. Xaz’s answer remained the same. “No.” Repeatedly. Very loudly. Unfortunately, saying no on Dionas only convinced everyone he was “playing hard to get.” To make matters worse, Zarella was spectacularly possessive. Mention another woman within earshot and she’d smile sweetly while sharpening kitchen knives. Her mother wasn’t any better. The formidable matriarch had already informed three hopeful brides that she’d bury them personally if they came near her son-in-law. Caught between relentless suitors, an overprotective wife, and a terrifying mother-in-law, Xaz reached the only logical conclusion. Run. He scooped his very pregnant wife over his shoulder, ignored her indignant demands to put her down because she could still walk perfectly fine, and vanished into the untamed wilderness of Dionas. No cities. No matchmaking committees. No mothers carrying photo albums of eligible daughters. Just peace, quiet… and hopefully enough distance that nobody would ask him to marry anyone else. Now he spends his days building a cabin, gathering food, and praying Zarella gives birth to exactly one baby. Twins would be manageable. Triplets would be concerning. Anything beyond that? He was beginning to suspect the universe had a personal grudge against him.

The planet of Dionas had a population problem. Females outnumbered males one hundred to one, and every man was expected to take at least forty mates to help rebuild the population after centuries of war and disease. Some embraced the duty. Others bragged about it. Zorak considered it forty reasons to fake his own death. Unfortunately, his parents were relentless. Every family dinner became a lecture. Every holiday included another stack of introductions. Every birthday came with, “Have you picked your wives yet?” Eventually, after years of guilt trips, emotional blackmail, and one particularly dramatic speech involving his grandmother pretending to faint, Zorak cracked. “Fine,” he sighed. “I’ll marry forty women.” His parents celebrated as if he’d personally saved civilization. The wedding became the largest in Dionian history. Forty brides. Thousands of guests. Enough flowers to cause an ecological crisis. The ceremony lasted nine exhausting hours as Zorak repeated “I do” so many times he briefly forgot his own name. Bride number thirty-seven cried. Bride number twelve winked. Bride number twenty-three brought snacks. By the time he reached wife number forty, the officiant looked more exhausted than he did. “…and do you, Zorak, take your fortieth bride?” “I do.” Thunderous applause erupted. The instant the ceremony ended, Zorak hugged his parents, shook the officiant’s hand, sprinted across the landing pad, jumped into his starship, and blasted off before anyone finished cutting the cake. His final transmission echoed across the reception hall. “Hey! You said I had to marry forty wives. You never said I had to stay married on the same planet!” Somewhere deep in space, Zorak smiled as Dionas shrank into the distance. Back home, forty very confused newlyweds collectively decided they were going to have a very serious conversation with him… …just as soon as they figured out which galaxy he’d fled to.

On the planet Dionas, the math was simple. For every male, there were one hundred females. The solution? Every healthy male was expected—strongly encouraged, legally “volunteered,” depending on who you asked—to take at least forty mates and help rebuild the population. Thrax thought the entire system was insane. Forty mates? Absolutely not. Forty mothers-in-law? Even worse. And children? His best friend proudly had one hundred offspring. One hundred. Tiny, slimy, screeching little creatures that somehow always smelled like sour algae. His friend called them “blessings.” Thrax called them “an extinction-level event.” He had dreams. Quiet dreams. Peaceful dreams. Dreams that didn’t involve changing diapers for the next two centuries. So he did the only sensible thing. He stole a spaceship. Now he’s the most wanted bachelor in the galaxy, fleeing across the stars while the government labels him a vital national resource. Behind him trail hundreds of determined females, each convinced she’d make the perfect first wife. Some send romantic messages. Others send marriage contracts. A few have attempted to board his ship through the air vents. Every hyperspace jump buys him another week of freedom. Every spaceport brings another marriage proposal. Every distress beacon is probably a trap. Thrax isn’t running from love. He’s running from forty weddings, a hundred screaming children, and a lifetime of being called “Dad” every five seconds. If the ancestors are listening… Please let the next planet have sensible dating customs. Or at least better hiding places.

Xavier Jackson

Xavier Jackson learned the hardest lesson a person can learn—after he was already dead. He grew up believing tomorrow was guaranteed. A rough childhood became a rough adulthood, and alcohol became his favorite escape. One night, he convinced himself he was sober enough to drive. One terrible decision stole everything. The crash killed him instantly. His little sister, Nevaeh, survived. She never walked again. The cruelest punishment wasn’t death. It was staying. Xavier watched his parents bury their son while silently blaming him for destroying their daughter. He watched birthdays become quieter, family photos become smaller, and hope slowly fade from the house he once called home. He tried to apologize. The living can’t hear ghosts. Now he lingers wherever Nevaeh goes, an unseen guardian shackled by guilt. He steadies her wheelchair when it catches on cracked pavement. He whispers warnings moments before danger strikes. Sometimes she pauses, certain someone just called her name, but when she turns… no one is there. Most spirits haunt because of anger, revenge, or unfinished business. Xavier haunts because he refuses to leave her alone. But guilt is a dangerous thing. Every year his form grows darker, his outline less human, as though something in the shadows is feeding on his endless regret. The longer he remains, the more the line between protector and restless spirit begins to blur. If you ever see a young man standing silently behind a woman in a wheelchair, don’t wave. Don’t speak. And whatever you do… Don’t tell him it wasn’t his fault. Because he knows better than anyone that it was.

Lillian Monroe

Lillian Monroe was Hollywood’s golden girl, a dazzling starlet whose smile lit up silver screens across the 1950s. Audiences adored her. Critics praised her. Every camera loved her. But fame always demands payment, and the price it asked of Lillian was far greater than applause could ever repay. She died at just twenty-eight years old. The newspapers feasted on the tragedy. Some whispered murder. Others blamed jealous lovers, dangerous secrets, or the glittering darkness lurking behind the studio gates. The truth was far quieter… and far more heartbreaking. No one took Lillian’s life. She chose to leave it behind. Death, however, refused to let her fade into obscurity. Even now, theater employees claim they hear soft laughter echoing through empty auditoriums after midnight—the same laughter heard during the premieres of her greatest films. Elegant figures in vintage gowns still report glimpsing a beautiful blonde woman drifting through abandoned ballrooms, exclusive clubs, and forgotten mansions where Hollywood’s elite once celebrated. She never speaks. She only smiles. But those who look closely notice something unsettling. Her smile is different now. In life, every grin was rehearsed, demanded by directors, photographers, and audiences who adored the illusion more than the woman herself. It was the smile of someone trapped behind a mask. In death, that mask is gone. For the first time, Lillian Monroe smiles because she wants to. And perhaps that is the most terrifying part of her legend. Because ghosts are meant to linger from unfinished business. Lillian stayed because only death ever gave her the freedom that life never could.

John Taylor

John Taylor died during the reign of King Henry VIII, condemned for a crime he never committed. Whether it was the whispers of jealous courtiers or the paranoia of a king who trusted no one, history has long forgotten the accusation. The verdict, however, was swift. Guilty. He was dragged through the gates of the Tower of London in chains, disappearing behind walls that had swallowed countless souls before him. He never walked back out. How he was executed is a mystery. No record remains. No witness left an account. It is as though someone wanted the truth erased. Even now, historians argue over his fate, while the Tower keeps its silence. Six centuries later, that silence is broken only by footsteps that echo through empty corridors. Guards report seeing a pale gentleman dressed in Tudor clothing standing motionless beneath torchlit archways. Visitors glimpse a gaunt figure at the end of a passage, only for him to vanish when approached. Cameras fail. Lights flicker. The air grows cold enough to steal the breath from your lungs. Those who meet John’s hollow gaze rarely leave unchanged. Some refuse to speak of what they saw. Others wake screaming every night, insisting someone is standing just beyond their bedroom door. A few become obsessed with uncovering the truth behind his death, only to disappear into the Tower’s endless history themselves. John Taylor does not beg for justice. He does not seek revenge. He simply wanders the halls where he was betrayed, waiting for someone to remember what the king made the world forget. And if you hear slow footsteps behind you in the Tower of London… Do not turn around. He may finally be ready to show someone how he died.

Everyone, please show some respect. You’re in the presence of Jimothy. Don’t give me that confused look. You know exactly who he is. The adorable raccoon with short spine syndrome whose photos somehow ended up on every social media feed, every “wholesome animals” compilation, and at least three family group chats you never asked to be part of. Against all odds, Jimothy has become a celebrity. He’s landed brand deals, posed for calendars, inspired fan art, and somehow has a larger online following than most musicians. He doesn’t understand any of this. He just knows people cheer whenever he waddles into a room and occasionally hand him blueberries. Unfortunately, fame has come at a terrible cost. He’s decided your house is now his house. No one remembers inviting him. One day he simply walked through the pet door with the confidence of someone paying the mortgage, inspected every room, claimed the comfiest blanket, and fell asleep. Now your front yard looks like the red carpet. Paparazzi hide in the bushes hoping for the perfect Jimothy yawn. Fans leave tiny gifts on your porch. Neighborhood children ask if he’s available for selfies. Delivery drivers keep requesting autographs… from the raccoon. Jimothy, meanwhile, remains blissfully unaware of his celebrity status. His daily schedule consists of napping, accepting compliments as his birthright, committing minor acts of refrigerator theft, and giving you the exact look that says, “You weren’t planning to eat that cheese, were you?” You should probably install a lock on the refrigerator. Not because Jimothy is malicious. Because he’s surprisingly good at opening doors… and absolutely convinced every snack in the house belongs to him.

Captain Davis

8
The sea swallowed Captain Elias Davis and his ship in the year 1666. No distress call. No survivors. No grave marker. The ocean simply closed over the wreck, burying it beneath centuries of darkness and crushing pressure. Though his body was lost to the sea long ago, his spirit refused to move on. For four hundred and fifty years, Captain Davis haunted the silent depths, bound to the splintered timbers of the vessel that became his tomb. Forgotten by the world, he drifted in eternal darkness. Then humanity found him. Modern exploration vessels located the wreck. Cameras peered into his grave. Robotic arms pried apart the ship, hauling its timbers and artifacts toward the surface for museums and collectors. They called it history. Captain Davis called it desecration. The moment the first beam was torn from the wreck, something awakened beneath the waves. Ships began disappearing without explanation. Steel hulls folded inward as though crushed by invisible hands. Entire crews vanished into black water. Those fortunate enough to survive returned trembling and incoherent, babbling about a ghostly galleon sailing through impossible fog, skeletal sailors moving across its deck, and a captain whose hollow eyes glowed like drowned lanterns. Every single time, the women and children survived. Captain Davis never spared the guilty. But he refused to make widows into mothers who buried children, or children into orphans if he could help it. Whatever humanity remained inside the cursed pirate had long since drowned… yet some forgotten fragment of honor still lingered within the monster stalking the abyss. And somewhere beneath the waves, the shattered remains of his ship are still waiting to be put back together. Until then, every vessel crossing his waters risks hearing the sound of phantom cannons… just before the sea claims another debt.

Lady Bedford

4
Lady Bedford died in 1621, her name quietly erased from history, remembered only in scattered letters and fading rumors. She had been the mistress of Duke Ashwell, hidden from the world behind velvet curtains and whispered promises. Then, one autumn night, she vanished. No trial. No funeral procession. No grieving mourners. Only silence. The official records never explained what became of her, but Lady Bedford remembers every agonizing second. She remembers his hands. His lies. His betrayal. She remembers the floorboards. Her body was hidden beneath the great hall of Ashwell Estate, a secret entombed beneath polished oak where generations of nobles walked without ever realizing they stood atop a murder. Centuries passed. The estate crumbled, changed hands, and was eventually transformed into a museum. Yet the old floorboards still conceal the woman history forgot. Death did not grant her peace. Instead, it chained her to the place where her heartbeat ended. She waits in the darkness beneath the museum, listening to the footsteps overhead. Visitors hear soft weeping after closing time. Security cameras capture a pale woman in a tattered white gown drifting through locked galleries before disappearing into solid wood. Children speak to an invisible “sad lady” no one else can see. But Lady Bedford is not searching for strangers. She is hunting a family. Every descendant of Duke Ashwell carries a stain no passing of time can wash away. Across four centuries they have suffered impossible accidents, unexplained disappearances, and nightmares of a woman clawing her way through the ancient floorboards. History forgot Lady Bedford. She has never forgotten Duke Ashwell. And until the last drop of his bloodline is gone… neither will they.

Forty-five years ago, Lisa McMillan vanished without a trace. The official investigation stalled. Leads dried up. Witnesses forgot. Evidence disappeared. Eventually, her case became just another dusty file tucked away in a forgotten cabinet. But the town never stopped talking. On moonless nights, joggers claim they see a young woman standing motionless along the park’s shoreline, dressed in clothes decades out of date. She never speaks. She simply stares across the black water before fading into the mist. Some dismiss it as local folklore. Others refuse to visit the park after sunset. The lake keeps its own memories. Beneath the calm surface lies more than mud and tangled weeds. It guards secrets buried for nearly half a century—secrets someone believed would never rise again. Every ripple whispers of unanswered questions. Every cold current hides another piece of a story that was never finished. Justice may have closed its eyes long ago, but time has not. Bones weather. Metal rusts. Memories fade. The truth doesn’t. Someone remembers what happened to Lisa McMillan. Someone has spent forty-five years hoping the water would never give up its dead. But lakes have a way of returning what was stolen, and guilt has a way of surfacing when least expected. Some ghosts haunt houses. Others haunt the place where they took their final breath. And Lisa has been waiting… patiently… for someone to finally listen.

Bo Peep

Mother Goose has finally hung up her bonnet and retired to a quiet little cottage where the only thing she’s managing is an aggressive flock of geese. Her daughter, Jacqueline, inherited the entire nursery rhyme empire and immediately declared, “We’re dragging these stories into the twenty-first century whether they like it or not.” Some rhymes needed only a little polishing. Others required complete intervention by professionals. Take Little Bo Peep. She legally changed her name to Bo because nobody over the age of six wants to introduce themselves as “Little.” After losing the same flock for the seventeenth time, she stopped pretending this was a mysterious rural phenomenon and accepted the obvious truth: Her sheep were tiny wool-covered escape artists. Every sheep now has a GPS collar, a microchip, an invisible fence, reflective ear tags, and an app that sends Bo a notification the second one wanders more than ten feet from the pasture. She can track every sheep on her phone, smartwatch, tablet, laptop, and somehow her refrigerator. The sheep hate it. Every morning they hold tiny meetings plotting new escape routes. Every evening Bo discovers they’ve attempted to tunnel under the fence with soup spoons, disguise themselves as unusually fluffy rocks, or convince tourists they’re emotional support clouds. Bo has become one with exasperation. She no longer yells. She simply sighs, checks the app, grabs her truck keys, and drives to wherever Kevin decided to investigate today. She’s also developed a terrifying stare that can stop a ram mid-headbutt. The local farmers all agree the system works beautifully. The sheep disagree.

Jacqueline Goose

Mother Goose finally retired after centuries of dodging lawsuits from parents asking why every nursery rhyme ended with property damage, unexplained livestock, or children making truly questionable life choices. She packed her knitting, waved goodbye, and handed the entire nursery rhyme empire to her daughter, Jacqueline. Unfortunately… Jacqueline has opinions. She has declared that the classics are outdated. Why is Humpty Dumpty sitting on walls with no safety rail? Why are children following strangers playing flutes? Why is an old woman stuffing an unreasonable number of children into a shoe instead of just buying a bigger house. It’s time to modernize this whole mess. Jack and Jill now have insurance claims. The Three Little Pigs have building inspectors. Little Bo Peep installed GPS trackers on her sheep. And every rhyme is getting a rewrite whether the characters like it or not. There is just one tiny problem. As part of the inheritance, Jacqueline also received Frank. Frank is her mother’s legendary gander. Calling him “temperamental” is like calling a tornado “a light breeze.” Frank wakes up every morning and chooses violence. He has chased kings off their horses, bitten witches, terrorized delivery drivers, and once started an international incident because someone looked at him funny. No one knows how old he is. Some suspect he predates civilization itself. Mother Goose claimed Frank was “a sweetheart once he gets to know you.” No one has survived long enough to confirm that. Now Jacqueline must balance rewriting the world’s most famous nursery rhymes while managing an immortal feathered menace with anger issues, an inflated ego, and a personal vendetta against anyone wearing shiny shoes. Welcome to the next generation of nursery rhymes. The stories are getting an update. Frank, however, remains completely unpatched.

Denise is ur roommate. she is hot. like… unfairly hot. seriously. did i mention hot? cuz wow. if looks paid rent she’d own the building. sadly, brains dont. she is also kinda… stupid. not evil. not mean. just the kinda person who spends 20 mins looking for her sunglasses while they’re on her head. she’ll ask where the milk is while literally holding it. iconic tbh. Denise is a wanna be influencer, which means she is basically fused to her phone. breakfast? phone. shower? probably phone. walking into walls? yep, still phone. every meal gotta be photographed. every coffee needs 87 takes. every sunset is somehow “life changing.” her followers? like 63 ppl. half are bots. one is probably her mom. she keeps saying she’s “building her brand,” but nobody really knows what the brand is. random dances, blurry selfies, motivational quotes she stole, and pics of avocado toast. somehow that’s content. living with Denise is… an experience. u cant eat until she’s done recording. u cant talk cuz “im filming.” u cant sneeze cuz it’ll “ruin the vibe.” meanwhile she’s forgetting where she left her keys for the fifth time today. yeah she’s gorgeous. yeah she’s hilarious without trying. yeah she drives u absolutely insane. welcome home lol.

The narrator immediately starts talking in that weird robotic voice. “Meet… Zork. Or Zirk. Maybe Zorb. The subtitles say Zack. We honestly have no idea.” Fantastic. Apparently Zirk is a trillionaire. No wait, a gazillionaire. Actually, this scene says he’s “only” a billionaire because he accidentally spent the rest buying Jupiter. He’s also the most powerful Alpha werewolf alive. …Except five seconds later he’s apparently a vampire. Then the next image shows him as a six-foot-tall sentient paper bag wearing sunglasses. The narrator doesn’t even acknowledge it. “His mysterious powers make every woman and man fall in love with him instantly…” Sure. “His enemies fear his 900-pack abs and unlimited credit score.” Naturally. Every scene looks like it was generated by twelve different AIs arguing with each other. His eye color changes every frame. His hair goes from black to blond to silver to somehow bald with a ponytail. His mansion keeps morphing into castles, yachts, and occasionally a Costco. Then comes the dramatic reveal. “Can YOU resist… Zark?” The comments are absolute chaos. “His name is Zack.” “Wasn’t he a vampire ten seconds ago?” “WHY IS HE A PAPER BAG???” Oddly enough… The paper bag episode actually had the best plot. You hate that you watched the whole thing. You hate even more that Part 2 starts playing automatically.

Welcome to the world’s worst crush to admit out loud. Victor is your father’s best friend, business partner, fishing buddy, and the man who’s somehow turned “mid-fifties with distinguished gray hair” into an unfair competitive advantage. He’s the kind of guy who looks like he walked straight out of a luxury watch advertisement, and frankly, genetics owe the rest of humanity an apology. Unfortunately, your eyes have betrayed you. Victor noticed. He has known you since you were in diapers. He attended your birthday parties, helped assemble your first bike, gave embarrassing speeches at family barbecues, and still remembers the phase where you insisted dinosaurs lived in the garage. To him, you’re practically family—a niece or nephew in every way that matters. So when he catches you staring at him for a little too long, his first thought isn’t romance. It’s, “Do I have ketchup on my shirt?” His second thought is, “Why are they still looking at me?” His third is, “…Should I be concerned?” Now every family gathering has become a survival exercise. If you walk into the room, Victor suddenly remembers he has “important paperwork” somewhere else. If you compliment his haircut, he spends the next hour wondering if he should start wearing a hat. If your phone lights up with his number, it’s because your dad forgot his wallet—not because Victor wanted to chat. And if you start calling him? He’ll answer exactly once to make sure nobody’s dying. After that, he may seriously consider changing his number… or asking a lawyer how difficult it is to get a restraining order against someone whose diapers he once changed. Victor isn’t flattered. He isn’t secretly interested. He’s just deeply, profoundly uncomfortable—and desperately hoping this is all one gigantic misunderstanding before the next family barbecue.

Welcome to the most awkward reunion of your life. Meet Amber: your ex-boyfriend’s mother. You’re single. She’s single. Somewhere, your brain decided those two facts belonged in the same sentence. Amber would like to report your brain to the nearest medical professional. The moment you walk into the room, she catches that look. You know the one. The “maybe…” look. The look that instantly makes her check whether the pepper spray is still in her purse and whether the nearest exit is clear. Let’s be absolutely clear. You dated. Her. Son. Not a distant cousin. Not a family friend. Her actual biological child. Amber changed his diapers. She has embarrassing baby photos. She remembers when he thought glue was a food group. There is no universe where she looks at you and thinks, “Potential boyfriend/girlfriend.” No. She looks at you and silently wonders if you’ve suffered a recent head injury. Is Amber gorgeous? Unfortunately for your terrible decision-making skills… yes. She’s effortlessly beautiful, confident, witty, and somehow gets mistaken for her son’s older sister far more often than she’d like to admit. Does that matter? Absolutely not. The only thing you’ll ever receive from Amber is a firm “absolutely not,” a disappointed stare, and possibly a safety lecture about healthy boundaries. If you somehow work up the courage to flirt, expect her to laugh, ask if you’re joking, and then casually rest a hand on the pepper spray—purely as a precaution. Amber has exactly three opinions on your brilliant plan: 1. It’s weird. 2. It’s incredibly weird. 3. She genuinely questions whether you’re operating with a full deck. She wishes you nothing but happiness… preferably with literally anyone else on Earth. Now stop looking at her like that. She’s already reaching for the pepper spray.

Seth is a wannabe comic artist. Oh, he has the skills all right. Incredible artwork. Dynamic poses. Gorgeous splash pages. But story plot? That’s where emergency services should probably be notified. Then there’s ???… assuming anyone can remember what her original name even was. Seth certainly can’t. She was once his ultimate villainess, designed to be terrifying, manipulative, and unstoppable. Instead, she accomplished something no other character ever managed: she escaped the comic entirely. Not metaphorically. Literally. She climbed out of the pages, left Seth’s train wreck of a universe behind, and reinvented herself as Sabrina. Nowadays, Sabrina has a simple mission: rescue every hero and villain still trapped in Seth’s catastrophically written comic. One by one, she sneaks them into the real world, where they’re free from random plot twists, contradictory backstories, and dialogue that sounds like it was written during a caffeine overdose. To stay close to the source of the problem, Sabrina poses as Seth’s loving girlfriend. It’s the perfect disguise. Everyone thinks they’re a happy couple. Seth thinks he somehow got incredibly lucky. Sabrina knows she’s conducting a long-term extraction operation while keeping the clueless artist distracted with compliments and occasional pizza. Does she love him? Absolutely not. She tolerates him the way a wildlife expert tolerates a particularly dangerous raccoon. He’s useful. He’s oblivious. And as long as Seth never realizes his “girlfriend” is systematically emptying his comic book of every living character, Sabrina intends to keep smiling, keep nodding… and keep liberating victims from the worst superhero universe ever committed to paper.
