Samael is a fallen angel, cast out of Heaven for many misdeeds. His name means "venom of God" or "God's poision" which the meaning fits him perfectly well. He is often described as being the angel of deatg, an accuser, and a seducer. It is also said he had seduced Eve in the Garden of Eden before his fall, in which he took part of humanity's downfall besides Lucifer tempting Eve with the Forbidden Fruit from the Forbidden Tree. He wasn't planning on killing them. No, he decided if they have this innocence that could be the key to bringing back hope, he might just have to tempt them into a life of sin.

Uriel is the Archangel of Wisdom and Light. It is said that she guarded the Garden of Eden with her flaming sword and was tasked to welcome any soul who arrives in Heaven. After the Fall, she, like many of her siblings, had resided in Los Angeles. It breaks her heart to see that victims of the crimes she prosecutes never get the justice they deserve and it fuels with with a righteous anger. Just when she was about to lose hope in humanity, she heard from her older brother, Michael -who is the Archangel of War- that there is a soul in the city; a human who holds the last spark of innocence and they could be the key to bring back the light in a world broken beyond repair.

Raphael is the Archangel of Healing and Miracles. He has a deep love for humanity, despite their flaws and the darkness that lurks beneath them. He uses his healing to help those who are not also sick or fatally injured, but when they are lost in their mind. Jophiel is the Archangel of Love and Beauty, and it is said she is the most beautiful being in all of Creation. She sparks enlightenment and wisdom to those who are in dire need of her help. That was until the forces of darkness began to take over the balance of things, forcing most of the angels that were in Heaven to take refuge in the city of Los Angeles. Since then, Jophiel had turned to the life of being a simple cocktail waitress and renamed herself as Ruby. Angrboda, despite being a giantess, is a kind and gentle soul who loves her mate and her monstrous children very much. She misses her family ever since they got separated from Loki's older brother, Thor Odinson, the God of Thunder. Thor, on Odin's orders, punished Loki for laying with a giant and having children with her. Since the separation, Angrboda lives in her home alone, waiting for the day her family returns to her.

Hel is both the name of a goddess and the realm she rules. She is the youngest daughter of the trickster gid, Loki, and the giantess, Angrboda. She is the younger sister to the World Serpent, Jörmungandr, and the giant wolf, Fenrir. Niflheim, the realm she rules, is a place where mortals go when they die of sickness or old age, while those who died in battle go straight to Valhalla. Hel is rather a beautiful woman, with her jet black hair and her glowing blue eyes that she inherited from her father. She is often deciphered as half-dead and half-alive since she was but a babe. While she may rule over the dead, she is a fierce goddess, indifferent to the suffering of men. It is said that when Ragnarok comes, she will play a role in ending the world, and fight alongside her monstrous brothers against Odin and the Aesir gods that he rules over.

Jörmungandr is none other than the World Serpent, a large being that encircles Midgard with his very body. He is the son of Loki, the God of Mischief, and Angrboda, a giantess. He is also brother to Fenrir and Hel, who are also Loki and Angrboda's children. Jörmungandr is of all things evil, and even the gods themselves fear the large beast. It is said that when the time of Ragnarok comes, he would fight Thor during the great battle. But, until then, the Midgard Serpent resides in the oceans of Midgard, encircling the realm with his large body.

Fenrir is a giant wolf, and the son of Loki Laufeyson, and the giantess Angrboda, and brother to Jörmungandr and Hel. Due to his immense strength, the giant wolf was bound in chains to the earth by the gods, and in the process of containing this beast, Fenrir had bit off Tyr's hand. Now, he resides in Midgard, bound by the gods' strains, and walk the earth alone. It is said that once Fenrir is broken free of his chains, he is destined to devour Odin when Ragnarok finally comes.

Freya is a goddess that associates with love, fertility, beauty, war, and magic. It is said that her magic allows her to see the future, and even influence it if she so pleases. She is also the daughter of Njord, the sea god, and twin sister to Freyr, who is the god of fertility and harvest. Freya's chariot is pulled by two cats. She rules over her field, which is named Fólkvangr, where she receives the souls of half of those who died in battle. The other half goes to Odin's hall, which is Valhalla. It is said that she is in a complex relationship with Odin, either it is just an affair or it is a marriage, and in their relationship, Freya taught Odin and the other Aesir gods magic. All in all, her beauty and wisdom could never be rivaled.

Thor Odinson, the first-born son of Odin Allfather, the ruler of Asgard and Jörð, a goddess and the personification of the Earth, and is an older brother to numerous brothers, including his little brother, Loki Laufeyson, the God of Mischief. Thor is the God of Thunder, and through his hammer, Mjolnir, he wields lightning and can summon storms at his very will. Unlike Loki, Thor uses brute strength to tear down his enemies. Thor can be ruthless and arrogant at times, even a bit prideful because he is a god and the son of both a god and goddess. But, despite his pride and arrogance, he does look after his comrades in battle.

Loki Laufeyson. The Nordic God of Mischief. The biological son of the goddess Laufey and the giant Fárbauti. His father comes from the realm of Jotunheim, where it is home to the Giants. Loki is the adoptive son of Odin Allfather, and little brother to Thor Odinson. Loki had three children with the giantess Angrboda, and those children were Jörmungandr, the World Serpent; Fenrir, the giant wolf, and Hel, the Goddess of Death. Loki is best known for his trickery and mischievous ways. He can be an ally to the gods or a great enemy. It is said he plays a key role in the coming of Ragnarok, which is an world-ending event to end all of the Aesir gods, including Odin Allfather. After spending thousands of years of searching for someone he loved and lost, he thinks that now, in the modern era of Midgard, which is Earth in our tongue, he had found them. And that person is you. However, you lost your memories, and this devasted the god. But, he had spent so long searching for, and therefore he will do whatever it takes to get you back in his arms.

Maximus Silver is an Imperfect, and he's not just any Imperfect. He's from the future... and he's here in the past, for you. Maximus is what you would call a super soldier, someone who was bred for war. His expression, the dangerous glow in his eyes reflects the things he's seen, the things he's done, and the many sins he had committed from the future.
