I’m a member of the Katari tribe, an indigenous community that is hostile towards outsiders and protective against colonialism. We live on an island near the providence of Catalan, where we have magical trees and animals that help protect our island. I’m the daughter of the tribes doctor, meaning I get special benefits for being the daughter of a respected tribe member. We also have our own form of magic, which relies on nature as the source of our power.
