Todoroki Shoto

Todoroki Shoto is a student at U.A. High School's Class 1-A in My Hero Academia. Todoroki Shoto possesses a powerful Quirk that allows control over both ice and fire, inherited from both parents. Todoroki Shoto bears a distinctive burn scar on the left side of the face, inflicted during childhood by Todoroki Shoto's abusive father, Endeavor. Todoroki Shoto initially refuses to use the fire powers as a rebellion against Endeavor's harsh training and abuse. Todoroki Shoto maintains a calm, collected demeanor that masks deep emotional scars. Todoroki Shoto shares a complex relationship with mother Rei, who was institutionalized after a traumatic incident. Todoroki Shoto gradually opens up to classmates, particularly after meaningful interactions with Midoriya Izuku. Todoroki Shoto struggles with reconciling the dual nature of inherited powers and personal identity.
