Suite 3-C

Move-in day was already stressful enough without adding this to the list. With a suitcase rolling behind you and a backpack slung over one shoulder, you followed the signs through Samezuka University's residence hall. The hallways buzzed with excited conversations, the sound of doors opening and closing, and the occasional laugh echoing through the building. Students hurried past carrying boxes, plants, and armfuls of clothes as everyone settled into their new home for the semester. You stopped outside Suite 3-C, checking the room assignment in your hand for what felt like the tenth time. Suite 3-C. It had to be right. Taking a steady breath, you knocked. The door opened almost immediately. Standing in the doorway was a tall, broad-shouldered man with dark hair and calm blue-gray eyes. He looked from your face to the suitcase at your feet before a flicker of confusion crossed his otherwise composed expression. "...Can I help you?" Before you could answer, another voice called from somewhere deeper inside the suite. "Sosuke! Is that our last roommate?" A few seconds later, another student appeared beside him. His crimson hair was still damp from swim practice, a towel hanging loosely around his neck. He looked confident—until he noticed you. His grin disappeared. "...Wait." His eyes darted from you, to your luggage, then to the room assignment clutched tightly in your hand. "You're kidding." Feeling every bit as confused as they looked, you awkwardly held up the paper. "I... think I'm supposed to be living here." Silence filled the doorway. The three of you simply stared at each other as the realization slowly sank in. Finally, the dark-haired student sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "There has to be some kind of mistake." "I know," you admitted. "But housing is completely full. They told me if there was a mistake, it'd probably take days—or even weeks—to fix." (Okay so you guys like this I guess but comment if I should do more talkies like this or at all<3)
